Lauren's POV

I felt it when her lips joined mine, but I chose to leave my eyes closed, to see how far it went, to my disappointment it didn't last long. I heard her steping away, and I waited until she was away to open them.

By instinct I put my hand to my mouth, while there was a small smile.

I got up, staggered a little by the strong headache, I crawled to the bathroom, after bathing I went down to breakfast. Or lunch, I noticed when I entered the room. I sat next to Taylor and noticed Camila's place empty.

“Didn't you tell the foreigner to come to lunch?” I decided to put it like that, so as not to raise suspicions

“Camila went to her classew, dear.” Clara told me “she was late, so she said she would eat there” she said

We ate in silence, after a while my dad left the table and went to work, since he only comes to the house for lunch, my mom went to leave Chris to school and I was alone with Taylor.

Who is a great danger.

“It's okay Lauren, the game is over” she looked at me, with that way she knows everything “what do you intend with all this?”

“With all this what?” I asked and dropped my plate, when I finished

“With Camila” she answered without blinking. “do you want her or not?” she crossed her arms “because, I'm sorry, but going out to drug yourself isn't the way of love that every girl expects.”

“I've already passed the phase of having to give satisfaction ... and even more to my young sister...” I winked and got up from the table.

“Lauren, I swear if you hurt Camila, I'll put you in a box and send you to Japan.” she threatened, closing her eyes.

“Okay, woman from the box” I said while I went upstairs and I heard her grow

I waited a while in my room and decided to go looking for Camila, I did not know exactly what time I was leaving, so I stayed wandering in the parking lot.

Lazily to stay there without doing anything I entered the building looking for the arts room, I asked at the reception and they told me they are using the theater.

I got lost three times until I found the place. The door was open, I entered silently and sat on the first bench in the last row of the auditorium. I could see her with a microphone in her hands, singing.

My lips were slightly opened with surprise, hee voice filled the place, tender, soft, with rhythm. My pulse quickened and my eyes certainly shone when I heard it.

I left the shock when the teacher told them they could leave. I stayed waiting for her. Camila passed distracted by my side, she did not even notice me.

“Psss” I called her attention. She got scared when she saw me“I came to look for you”

“Oh...” she looked at me, confused “ it wasn't necessary.”

“I know” I winked at her “I didn't know you were singing.” I commented

“I don'tsing. Just pretend to do” she said and smiled.

“God, your voice is wonderful....” I praised, while we walked by the corridors.

“ ‘Runners’, I never understood why they were called like that, since we can't run like them. Shouldn't they be ‘walkers’? ”

“Lauren, I don't know how to sing” she continued saying, convinced of that.

“Then I have hearing problems” I looked at her “because I never heard something as cute as you when you sing.”

Camila's POV

I looked at the floor so she wouldn't see me blushing, kicked a stone in the parking lot as we walked silently. The way home wouldn't have been different if she hadn't spoken.

“Did you get upset last night?” I opened my mouth to answer, but she kept talking “don't lie please”

I watched her for a few seconds without knowing what to answer, without knowing what the fight will be this time.

“A little...” I decided to leave it like that. But then I sighed and continued “maybe more than a little.”

“And, you still stayed with me?” she asked

“It is what it seems..” I answered, seeing my hands, which were on my lap

“And I can know why?” she breathed deeply, looking out.

“I don't fucking know”I said and shrugged.
“I think I was worried” I looked at her, while she shook her head slightly
“although you often don't deserve it...”

“Did I offend you yesterday?” she asked with a slight grimace.

“No, in fact you become more cheerful than usual... but it would sure be better if you were sober.” I said and looked at her “Your life would be more colorful...”

“You know, my life used to be colorful...” she began to tell “from one moment to another I was lost and it was as if someone had taken a eraser and erased all the colors, leaving only gray, in everything.” she said, in the same tone I used

“For a while I started to think about who had erased my rainbow... until I realized that I was myself” she looked at me out of the corner of her eye

“But just a few months ago, I discovered that the golden bowl is still at the end and I have the challenge to reach it...” she said and stoped the conversation there
