Camila's POV

The car stopped, my stomach churned with the anxiety that returned. Lauren, again, guided me. I heard several noises around, but none of them recognized them as those of a restaurant.

We entered into what, I believe, was an elevator until suddenly everything was silent, I only heard distant steps and our breaths. I didn't dare to ask where we were. Until a door opened and the sale came out of my eyes, for a few seconds I thought I was just having a mirage. I blinked several times, in shock.

"I..." I tried to say something, but I couldn't.

A large and luxurious room was in front of me, a Mexican flag hung on the wall, where there should be a painting, white roses in a glass on the table with different types of Mexican foods and drinks. White and green petals on the bed that looked soft. Every place I saw reminded me of my country.

"I tried to bring a bit of Mexico here..." she said with a tender voice "so you would kill the nostalgia you feel" she said and touched my shoulders "I wanted to do something special"

She couldn't have guessed more.
In addition to all the decoration, which certainly had to do research on my country, is the fact that it wasn't something copied. Or expected as a room with candles and red roses. She always manages to surprise me.

When I got out of the transe, I removed the bandage that was around my neck and I left it on the table. Lauren closed the door, the noise made me see her. In her eyes there was a different brightness that night. A shine that I didn't recognize.

"I don't know how to thank you for all this..." I said and pointed out the place

"I just want tonight to be special.." she said and took a step towards me and in seconds her arms surrounded my body.

"This night is special." I affirmed, touching her face. She responded with a slight smile and a kiss on my forehead.

"I don't know if all these things are from Mexico..." she saia dn released me, showing me the meals "it was hard to investigate" she said insecurely

"Hey, everything is perfect" I calmed her down, smiling "you didn't have to do all that work."

"You stayed with me when nobody else did..." she saia and looked at me " and you didn't have to" I understood where she wanted to go "then, we are at hand."

I decided to stop hitting the same key. Despite all my charm and the assurance that Lauren will make tonight be amazing,
I was nervous. And her too.

Which is very strange

"Excuse me, I never did this before.." she said and sighed heavily, sitting next to me on the bed.

"I think we both have a lot to learn tonight" she said and I looked at her, as she spoke delicately "together" I placed my hand on her that was resting on the mattress.
