Camila's POV

I didn't understand what she was trying to say, but I hugged her tightly. There was an agony in her voice, a terror I had never heard before.

I placed a hand of my hands in her hair and rested my head on her neck, she pressed her arms back to my body, her hands trembled and I didn't know what to do to calm her down.

“Lauren, everything is fine. I'm here, nothing bad is going to happen to you.” I murmured against her neck.

“Don't let me leave” she pleaded “don't let me throw everything away and lose, not again.”

“I'm not going to leave you, I'm going to stay with you, stay calm...” I said and touched her hair

I left the hug and held her face in my hands to immediately lay my forehead in her.

“You had a lot of courage to come to me”
I said and looked at her“this makes you strong.” I said and smiled at her

“Relax, it's almost ten thirty, there isn't much... to go to sleep and everything will happen.” I said

“My throat burns when I think about the.. ” she didn't complete the sentence “it's horrible, I feel like...”

“Don't think about that” I tried to help her “you will get over it.”

I touched her hands, they were sweating, her teeth were shaking, denouncing all the despair she felt at that moment.

“I'm not going to make it.” she said nervously.

“Yes, you will” I affirmed
“come here, you need to sit down.”

I took her by the hand to her room, closed the door and lay down. She called me to lay next to her, I did it. I settled on her chest, while she stroked my hair.

-“ ”Let's talk“ ”-I suggested-“ ”tell me, what is your favorite color?“ ” -I tried to distract her, like you do with a child when you want something very much.-

“A while back I didn't have any...” she answered, her voice a little weak
“But now I think I like brown” she answered looking in my eyes, my body bristled with the hint “and orange too.”

I took different issues, but none managed to distract her for a long time.

Lauren's hands went back to sweating and despair was obvious in her eyes, an agony rose through my body to not be able to do anything to remove this suffering.

“I'm not going to make it, Camila.. ” her voice was full of pain “my throat is dry” she placed her hand on her neck, to demonstrate “I can not fight against this.”

“Of course you can, my love” I saia and held her face, making her see me “I know you can.”

“Your love?” she repeated, clutching her arms around my body and placing her forehead on mine.

“Yes my love...” I didn't deny it, hernose brushed mine, in a shy caress.

“Only yours...” she whispered, pressing her lips in mine.

“Only mine...” I affirmed, with my heart contracted, as always. I ended up with two words in Spanish, so she wouldn't understand me. Not yet...
“Te amo”

“What?” she asked, confused.

“Nothing, let it go” I said

“That's unfair” she grimaced
“I hate not knowing what you're saying..” she said and held my face “I will take an intensive Spanish class” she teased.

I smiled, for having managed to distract her. At least for a while.

Lauren's POV

I tried to focus on Camila's words or anything else other than how my body asked for a stimulant. But I know that if I am like this today, tomorrow I will be worse. I started to bite my hand, in a clear act of nervousness that Camila captured.

“You're going to hurt yourself..” she grabbed the hand that was on my lips and away, delicately

“I can't take anymore...” I said and got up quickly from the bed. “I'm going to go crazy...” I took my hand to my hair, as I walked from one side to the other.

“I know you're try to help me, but it doesn't work” I said and looked at her

“I need the dr...” I said and sighed, without finishing the word “If it not today, then tomorrow or later..” I said “the need won't go until I have them in me..”

“I'm not going to give up” she said firmly. “If you break the door and run out, I'm going to try to calm you down...” she got up too, coming to me “because you asked me not to let you do that...” she said and stopped in front of me
“and I promised you I wouldn't leave you.”

I saw her, my teeth trembled, I felt ashamed of my condition. I saw the door and then I saw her again. Several times.

I sat on the bed, defeated. She stroked my hair. She watched my room for a few seconds, until she saw something that caught her attention. She walked to my guitar.

“Can I?” she asked and I nodded, confused “do you want me to play you my song?”

“You wrote a song?” I asked, surprised.

“Yes, but I still haven't finished it” she said “it was years ago” she sat on the bed, put the guitar on her lap and played some strings.

“Let me see if I remember how this was done.....” she said and began slowly, with the rhythm.

Now the legs of the rocking chair creak and there is snow on the TV

she sang, lowly

Now that it rains in the room and the candles of a sky that illuminated me are extinguished

I froze with her voice
