it's a short filler chapter my antisocial dudes. also with a long a/n bc i have like no friends (jk i do) and want to tell y'all about my week :)
"paisley, wake up." a voice whispers as they gently shake me awake. i tiredly open my eyes and see finneas standing over me.
"we are about to leave to get on a plane, do you want to change into something more comfortable?" he asks, picking me up out the bed.
i look out the window and see that it's still dark. i nod. finneas puts me into a small black bear hoodie and some black sweatpants.

i yawn as finneas slips on my socks. he goes to put on my shoes when i kick them out of his hands. "no shoe." i say as i rub my eyes.
finneas holds his hands up in surrender. "whatever you say." he says and chuckles to himself.
"i'm sleepy." i say as i yawn again. i look over to where billie is, still asleep. "no fair!" i whine as i point at billie. "go wake her up." finneas says.
i crawl over to billie on the bed. "mommy, get up." i say as i shake her. billie groans and turns over. "no." i say as i get off the bed and walk to the other side.
"get up, before i count to ten!" i huff as i fold my arms. billie stays asleep. "one." i start. "two, three." i pause. "what comes after three?" i say aloud. i shrug. "TEN!" i shout as i slap billie.
"dude." billie says as she tiredly opens her eyes. "paisley, you should be a boxer because that hurt." billie says, rubbing her cheek.
"billie, did you pack already?" finneas asks. "yeah, i did last night." billie says as she gets out the bed. "did you call an uber?" she asks. "yeah, and he's here now, so let's go." finneas responds.

we just got on the plane. billie straps me into the seat next to her and hands me some gummy bears. "paisley, where are your shoes?" billie asks.
"funny story, she kicked them out my hands when i tried to put them on." finneas says. billie looks at me. "no shoes." i say simply and continue eating my gummy bears.
"mommy, can i play on you're phone?" i ask politely. "not right now, you're supposed to be asleep at this hour." billie explains. i yawn. "okay." i say as i frown.
i eventually end up falling asleep.

i wake up and look around. why are we still on a plane? "well hello, sleeping beauty." billie says. i rub my eyes. i reach my hands out to billie.
"you want to sit on my lap?" billie asks. i nod. billie unbuckles my seat and grabs me out of it. she does the same to hers and sits me on her lap and buckles back up.
"we'll be home soon, okay?" billie says as she kisses my cheek. i nod and start to drift off to sleep again.

i'm just gonna add this unnecessary note, i've never been on a plane bc i'm a scaredy cat so i have no idea what i'm talking about :)
also as i'm typing this author's note i'm on my way to florida which will take like four hours to get to so we can get my brother from his navy ship and then drive four more hours back home! yay!
so i have currently turned the backseat into a vsco hangout.
anyways, i started school this week and it was very nice. my teachers are all nice-ish so that's good.
