16 ~ The Fear

"How'd you sleep baby?" I ask Dom as I start getting ready.

"I'm gonna be honest, I didn't. I was just thinking about how lucky I am to be with you"

"You're fucking joking!" I reply walking out of the bathroom, I stand at the end of the bed staring at him.

"You honestly didn't sleep, like at all?" He shook his head in confusion. "I didn't either, we could have spoke all night, but we just pretended to be asleep" I explain.

We both laugh, Dom gets up and hugs me. "If you ever can't sleep again, wake me up okay? Is not good for you to be alone in your mind, I know that. Even if I'm tired okay, it's too destructive keeping it all in." I nod with my head buried in his chest.

"So then," he continues, leading me to the end of the bed, we sit down "What kept you up?" He asks.

"You really want to know? Fucking hell this could take some time. Ummm, just everything really, how I've disappointed my mum and how I'm going to tell Zach and you, like I'm just scared that you're only being with me because you feel sorry for me and like you have to. Which you don't, I can do this myself. Like I don't want you dropping everything for me, I don't want to take YUNGBLUD away from you"

Dom doesn't reply for a while, he simply brings me into a hug. My head on his chest, his chin on my head. We stay for a while before Dom breaks the silence "First of all, your mum and Zach, they don't matter right now, you matter and it's important you do what's best for you. Second, I'm not with you because I feel sorry for you, not at all. I'm with you because you're all I've ever wanted, and although we haven't been together long. I know. I know that you're the one." I smile against his soft skin. "And as for YUNGBLUD, trust me nothing will take that away from me. Not even you" he smirks as he pulls away to get ready.

Dom gets ready as I sit on the bed waiting for him. I text Ella to arrange a time for us to go and speak to my mum.

We're almost ready, well actually I'm ready but Dom's take foreverrrrr doing his hair haha, ummm he reckons he'll be ready to go in 10 minutes so we'll get a cab there and we'll meet outside mine in 25 minutes? I'll call you x

I throw my phone down as I pace the room, I just don't know how this is going to work out. She was such a bitch yesterday but I understand that it must be a lot for her to process and understand. But it was even fucking worse for me, like she's not the one who's 16 and pregnant with her ex is she.

Dom finally comes out of the bathroom looking drop dead gorgeous, "Alright I know it's a bit much I know, but maybe this'll help your mum come to terms with it a bit more?" Dom says sheepishly.

"Hate to break it to you hun but I don't think we can do anything to help our situation right now" I reply as I grab my phone and open the door.

We head outside and wait for our taxi, when it comes we head straight to mine. I call Ella when we're close by and she's just around the corner.
