Danny slams the mailbox shut and balances the stack of envelopes in his hand.
So much mail... Bills, ads, more bills, propaganda, brochures... Ah! A letter from Carole.

Danny turns the envelope upside down and shakes it. Out falls a small slip of paper covered in Carolina's handwriting listing instructions on how to get backstage, where he gets to sit in the auditorium, etc. He carefully folds the papers up and tucks them back into the envelope. When he gets back to his room, he pulls out a blank piece of paper and a pen.
