Clint's P.O.V.

She started to freak out, really badly, and I had to do something.

"Abi!" I called, hoping she would hear me.

I waited a few seconds before speaking again.

"Abi listen to me! Just listen to my voice okay? I need you to focus on my voice and calm down for me." I said.

This had to work, she needed to calm down, I didn't know what would happen otherwise. She had been using her powers for so long, it must be exhausting her. The flames started to die down and I quickly scrambled out of the room we were in as I ran through the small flames that were still burning. I saw her legs give way underneath her as she crumbled to the floor, her eyes closing as her head hit the floor. I scooped her frail body up in my arms as I turned to Bruce, not knowing what to do now.

"Take her to the lab." He said quickly.

I nodded and sprinted towards the elevator but after a few seconds I couldn't take it anymore, the burning pain in my shoulder was too much for me to handle. Bruce quickly took her from my arms as we continued down towards the elevator, I gripped my shoulder tightly in an attempt to try and ease the pain but it didn't make a difference. In the lab, Bruce quickly attached her to a drip and started monitoring her vitals, her heart rate was almost nothing, her chest only rising and falling every few seconds. I felt my heart race increase, I knew that wasn't a good sign and I quickly turned to Bruce.

"Please tell me she's going to be alright, I've only just got her back, I can't lose her! Bruce! Bruce, speak to me." I demanded.

"What's going on?" Tony asked from behind me.

I turned and crumbled into his arms as I fought back the tears. He lead me out of the lab, leaving Bruce to get on with his work as he sat me down against the wall just outside. After a few minutes he took a seat next to me and broke the silence we had been in.

"What happened?" He asked.

"She started to freak out so Bruce and I ran into the observation room to watch, out of harms way. The floor around her lit up in flames and Bruce told her to think of a happy memory but it just made it worse, the flames covered the whole room, from floor to ceiling. We couldn't see her anymore so I intervened and calmed her down, her body was exhausted from using her powers for so long so she just passed out and now we're here." I said sadly, looking down at the floor.

"She will be fine Clint, Bruce will take care of her." Tony said with a reassuring smile.

I wanted to believe him but I just couldn't be sure, the way Bruce was acting earlier said otherwise. Tony helped me up off the floor and we walked back into the lab just as Bruce was injecting something into her arm. Her heart rate slowly started to increase back to a normal rate and Bruce turned to me with a small smile.

"She's going to be fine." He said.

I nodded to him and he gave me a small smile before walking over to his desk. I took a seat next to Abi's bed and took her hand in mine, the only noise in the room was her heart monitor and Bruce's tapping away at his laptop. I didn't know what we were going to do about her training now, she obviously can't take that much in one go, I turned to ask Bruce but Steve burst through the door.

"Fury needs us, Bruce you have to come too because Barton can't." He said.

I saw a look of fear wash across Bruce's face, he was scared of what would happen if he turned. I felt bad for him, he wasn't in control if he turned and that was what he hated, a bit like Abi if her powers come out.
