Abi's P.O.V.

He grabbed my arm and span me around so I was facing him, he pressed me against the wardrobe as his lips connected with mine. I melted under his touch but when I realised what was going on, I pushed him off. It hurt me to do it, and I knew it hurt him too but I had to do it.

"No, you don't get to do that. You don't get to ditch me in the middle of a park yesterday, and go to a strip club last night, then think you can come back here and I'll be waiting for you. That's not how it works." I said, tears streaming down my face.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me yesterday. I was just mad that I couldn't help the team, mad that we couldn't just spend an afternoon out together without being harrassed by press. I was stupid." He said.

"You got that right." I said angrily.

"Please forgive me." He said as tears began to brim in my eyes.

I was about to say something when he cut me off with a watery kiss, our tears in the mix as well. I couldn't stop myself as my arms snaked around his neck and pulled him close to me. One of his hands was on my cheek and the other was wrapped around my waist, pulling our bodies close together. When we broke away from the kiss, he rested his forehead on mine as we both tried to control our breathing.

"Look Clint I love you, I have since the day we met, you make me feel some sort of way nobody else can. I don't expect you to say it back but I just wanted to tell you so that it's out there an-" I began rambling but he cut me off.

He pressed another kiss onto my lips as he lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He carried me over to my bed and laid me down, his hands either side of my head and his knees by my waist.

"I love you too." He said before pressing his lips on mine again.

He kissed me with a hunger this time, it was passionate and I loved it. My bedroom door opened and Tony was stood there.

"Have you seen Cl- ohmygodsorry." He said before leaving again.

Clint chuckled and I covered my face with my hands, my cheeks redder than a tomato. He moved my hands away from my face and kissed me once more.

"What were you and Steve talking about in the training room?" He mumbled against my lips.

"Way to kill it." I said with a chuckle.

"But seriously, what was it?" He asked, sitting up.

"You really want to know?" I asked.

"I do." He said.

"Well, he said that when I get my powers under control and with a little bit of training, he said that I could be a good asset to the team." I said with a grin.

"Really?" He asked, unenthusiastically.

"Yeah." I said with a frown.

"Cool." He said.

"What's wrong?" I asked, turning his face so that he was looking at me.

"I just.... What we do is dangerous and I don't want you in harms way." He said.

"If I couldn't handle it do you think Steve would have asked. I can handle myself, I managed to survive three years on the streets, I'll be fine." I said, trying to reassure him.

He just got up without saying anything and walked out, I groaned as I laid back on my bed. A few seconds later I heard yelling in the hall, I quickly jumped from my bed to go and see what was happening.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Clint demanded, pointing his finger in Steve's face.

"What are you talking about?" Steve asked, confused.
