Y/n an 18 year old girl is at sea disguised as a male Viking among her father— Askeladd. She knows nothing of her deceased mother other than the fact that she too was ill, and had passed down the illness genetically to Y/n. Y/n dreams to explore the world, she hates having to kill innocent people, but it was the price for having a chance to live out some of her dream. Bjorn and Thorfinn were the only ones to know of Y/n and Askeladd's family ties , yet Thorfinn was the first to find out Y/n was female. Throfinn and Y/n's relationship was always strange, the two hate each other but Askeladd made sure to make clear that if anything were to happen to Y/n while Thorfinn was there— no duel.
