Falling for you || Yamaguchi Tadashi ☁️💫

Yamaguchi watched the girl next to him giggle in happiness. Her bubbling laughter accompanied by her beautiful face. She is gorgeous.

Her lips, soft and pillowy and her eyes, dreamy and so easy to get lost in. Her hair looked so smooth he wanted to reach out and feel it. Weird, he knows but she is just... so beautiful.

He was so easily mesmerised by anything she did. Anything from picking up her pen to answering the teacher. She was just... wow. Stunning.

Whenever she talked to him, he couldn't help but to feel nervous. Even if it was a simple question like, "Can I borrow your pen?" He couldn't help but to feel flustered.

He was truly madly in love. Wherever he was, he was constantly thinking of her. It was embarassing but... it was as if he was a boy who fell in love for the first time.

Being next to her was like being in heaven. Her soft, puffy cheeks. God! He just wanted to reach over and pinch them!

Is this what it's like? To fall in love? No, this wasn't love. It was just a mere crush...

Little did the boy know, the girl sitting beside him couldn't help but to fall for him too...

Ahh... He liked her so much but sweet sweet Yamaguchi... He was too scared to tell her up front. Why? He was scared of rejection. He was scared of being hated. He was just... scared.

But he needed her to know. He didn't know why but, he just wanted to tell her how he makes her feel.

Soo... How could he confess, without telling her up front? He thought and he thought as he lightly tapped his chin. Suddenly, a light bulb lit up above his head. Notes!

He could write little notes and place them under her table in the morning without her knowing! Then maybe he could confess later once he is ready to. Good idea Yamaguchi! ( so uwu he self praised himself 🥺 build up your confidence baby! )

So to start off, he wrote,
"To: Y/n

You look super cute today! :D ♡

From: Someone who really like you! 👉👈

"Perfect!" He said to himself. He folded the piece of paper into a shape of a heart and placed it on his table.

Since he comes relatively early to school, it would be easy for him to put the note under her table so all he needed to do now was to wait!

Cutie Guchi went to bed, excited for the girl of his dreams to see his note!

~ to the next day! ~

Yamaguchi went into class and phew, he was first in class so no one would see him! He sneakily placed the heart shaped note under her table and sat at his, pretending nothing had happened.

~ time skip to when Y/n arrives ~

Y/n was going to place her items under her table however, a tiny piece of paper was spotted in the corner of her eye. She reached for it and unfloded the piece of paper. She saw the message written on it and couldn't help but to gush over it. It was so adorable!

Y/n smiled at the note and couldn't help but to wonder who wrote it. She looked around the class guessing who it could be but it didn't add up. But she was suspicious of the cute boy next to her. Yamaguchi. Why? Well.... it was just a gut feeling hehe.

Day after day, she got more messages from the mysterious person. Y/n felt like she was on cloud nine reading every single one of them. Yamaguchi on the other hand, was feeling satisfied with her reactions.

Curious Y/n decided to come to class super early in hopes of catching "someone who really likes you".

~ off to the next day! ~

Y/n snuck into class really early in the morning and hid behind the door so she would not get spotted easily. As she hid behind the door, a mysterious figure appeared! Y/n tilted her head slightly so that she would not be seen but it was enough for her to see the person.

"Oh my God. It's Yamaguchi. Oh my god! Oh my god!" Y/n internally screamed. Her heart began beating out of her chest. She wasn't in total shock but it was Yamaguchi all along! She was so ecstatic yet so nervous for some reason.

Oh god. She didn't think this through. Since she was behind the door, if she were to come out, Yamaguchi would see her. And if she just stayed there, her legs would cramp up and she would be stuck there for the rest of the day.

Y/n sighed. She had to go with the first option. To walk out awkwardly.

She shyly walked out and revealed herself. "A-Ah Y/n how long have you been here?" Yamaguchi asked as he sweat dropped.

"...I was here the whole time." Y/n shyly admitted. She blushed furiously and awkwardly scratched her cheek.

"So.... Uh Y/n I-"

"I like you Yama-kun."

Yamaguchi blushed furiously. The girl he has liked for so long actually likes him too? Yamaguchi mustered up the courage to confess to her.

"I- I like you too!" he admitted.

Wow...he did it! He blushed harder and looked to his feet. Y/n walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Wow... her smile is so beautiful up close!" Yamaguchi thought to himself as he put a hand over his mouth.

Y/n asked, "Yama-kun wanna hang out together later?"

Yamaguchi shyly stuttered out, "S-Sure!"
