Chapter 15: Enhancement

Rain: "Well, Lisbeth. I'm sure you've no rush to learn, especially at this time of night. And U/N was just about to help me enhance my equipment..."

Lisbeth: "Oh! ummm, sure I guess! Uh, mind if I add you to my friend's list U/N? So we can arrange a better time?"

Y/N: "uhm, sure."

[Lisbeth has sent you a friend request]
[            ACCEPT [O] DECLINE [ X ]             ]

Y/N: "I'm not normally around town most the time, I'll send you a message when I have some time?"

Lisbeth: "Sounds great to me! See you when I see you then I! Bye U/N, Rain."

Y/N: "See ya"

Rain: ". . ."

Lisbeth then starts to make her way away from us, leaving the two of us alone again.

Rain's being awful quiet now..

Y/N: "So... mind if I have your sword for a moment?"

Rain: "..."

Y/N: "uh- Rain?"

Rain: "hmm? Oh. I was just thinking, maybe we should rent a room or something so we don't get any more interruptions. You don't mind do you?"

Y/N: "Yeh, that sounds good to me too. I don't want to end up running errands for everyone in this town!"

Rain: "... you're a total pushover, y'know that right?"

Y/N: "ermm, I suppose it could look like that, yeh... but y'know... I have a limit I keep in mind, anything below that I don't mind helping out with where I can."

Rain: "Oh? And what's that limit pray tell? I'd love to know how much I can get away with!"

Y/N: "Oh, I know you do. Argo too, she seems to always be instigating, trying to find that out herself... but I think it works better if only I know... y'know?"

Rain: "Yeh, that makes sense. I was just joking with you! Well, we've spent enough time out here, want to go and-"

Y/N: "-Come on then!"

Rain: "Hey! Wait for me!"

*TIMESKIP*

Rain: "Nice place!"

Y/N: "ermm, thanks. It's pretty much the default settings though..."

Rain: "Still, must be nice to have a room that you can do what you want with and it not reset the next time you enter... why are you renting this inn room rather than just paying for a room like normal?"

Y/N: "I uh- don't come back to town as often as other players. When I do, I'm normally kinda exhausted. I just liked the idea of having a reserved room and not having to worry about not being able to find a place to sleep when I needed it."

Rain: "Oh! That makes sense actually, I forgot Argo told me you go days without sleep grinding mobs. You really are the real deal aren't ya!"

Y/N: "Is there anything she didn't tell you?"

Rain: "Depends, why don't you tell me some more about you and I'll tell you what she didn't tell me?"

Y/N: "That's a sure-fire way to end up with more intel out there than I'd like!"
