This is like a Part Two to Little Snape.
But you can read them separately because it is not really connected <3

Severus would remember that day for the rest of his life. The day when he first held his newborn son in his arms. He had never felt so strong, as if his child just gave him another strength for him to hold on to.

"Isn't he beautiful?"

Your sweet voice got into his ears and he chuckled. He sat next to you in your bed, kissing your forehead softly. Happy tears escaped his eyes and you wiped them away, never stop smiling at your husband.

"I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too."

His lonely days were gone. He was ready to embark a riveting journey with his small family, knowing that you would always got each other. And now he had a son, a spitting image of him that he would love so dearly.

Sebastian Severus Snape was going to have such wonderful parents, he made sure of that. He promised himself he would be better than his father. He would love his son with all of his heart and it was not hard because the boy was loveable.

His days were much brighter now, and the students of Hogwarts knew about it too. Professor Snape rarely took points from their houses, and he only gave detention once in awhile. It was not an exaggeration to say that they were grateful that Sebastian made the professor become a little bit soft towards the students.

His love for his son was big, but the whole world knew how much he loved you. So when he was back from his classes and saw you crying, he dropped everything and he was by your side in a split second.

"What's wrong, darling?"

"Sebastian is not feeling well."

Severus breathed of relief when he realised that you were not hurt. But his attention moved towards his son. The child was crying  because of his high temperature and Severus knew what he had to do. He was a Potions Master, after all.

After he healed Sebastian, he rocked the baby in his arms, humming softly to send his son to peaceful sleep. A soft smile was cracked on his lips when Sebastian fell asleep, and he carefully put him back in his crib.

"Am I not a good mother, love?"

You asked, and Severus' heart broke at your words. He shook his head and took your hands in his, engulfing you with his warmth. You snuggled into his arms, missing your husband even if he was only gone for a few hours.

"You're the best mother in the whole world."

He whispered, planting a kiss on your head. He was surprised to see that you cried because your son was crying but he understood. Your kind heart could never seen someone hurt, let alone your own son.

Time went by fast when he was happy, Severus had learned that. He was used to having his son watching him from his crib, but then Sebastian started to crawl and just when Severus was getting used to it, the child started to walk.

Sebastian was sitting on his lap as he graded the papers. You watched them with a smile but then Sebastian started to mess with the papers. Your husband sighed and looked at you, silently pleading for you to come and help him.

"Your daddy is busy, sweetheart. Come here."

You walked towards them and picked him up in your arms. Surely, he just learned to walk thus he kept falling and right now you just wanted to put him to sleep.

"Mommy will read you a story, alright?"

You said in a small voice, making a chuckle escaped your husband's lips. He loved it when you do that. The image of you holding Sebastian in your arms would be forever engraved in Severus' mind as it was a reminder that he was no longer alone. He had both of you now.
