"What an unusual nightmare."

You couldn't agree more with Bierce. First it seemed like you were going to be torn to shreds, but then... they got distracted to say the least. Among the small bald clowns there was a taller one who had hair. This clown must have been around your height. He didn't seem to want to be there because he tried to flee as soon as one of the smaller clowns noticed him and ran towards him. After a small argument it tried to cram him into the tiny clown car.

"Get in Xavi!"

"No... stop that!"

"Get. In."

The small clown was aggresively tugging on the taller ones leg. "Fedor it won't fit!" Xavi tried to convince his smaller friend. Fedor was having none of it. Then the small clown noticed you. Before you could fully comprehend what was going on, the small clown was now tugging on your sleeve.

"Come on giants! We don't have all day."

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me!"

"Ambush them!" He directed the other clowns. "Whoa whoaa hey what!"  Xavi called out as a small amount of clown gremlins began to drag him to the car. You gave him an apologetic look before making a break for it. "Come back here human!" Xavi begged behind you. You didn't listen. You had to get out of there as soon as humanly possible. You attempted to grab the very last soulshard but you were halted in your tracks as a weight fell upon you. "Why did you leave me behind!? I am just as scared as you are," he said, sounding angry.

"I thought you and those clowns were a team," you replied. He got off you, slightly shaky. "Maybe so, but still!" You two sat there in silence for a moment. "We should get to the funhouse, they cannot get in there with the cars!"  You coughed lightly. "We?" He nodded. "Yes we." He pulled you up and began running, you hastily grabbing the soulshard along the way.

"Where do you think you're going!?"

You heard Fedor yell behind you.
