Daizee wasn't a morning person. Having a child now who didn't understand the concept of a goodnight sleep, didn't help that. Or having a boyfriend who worked all hours of the night, doing God knows what, and coming home covered in blood also didn't help. But Daizee had come to love the early sunrises that would flutter through the big open window.

Nestor was laying shirtless next to her, with his hair undone and fanned out around him. He had come home a mess the other night. He broke down in tears, telling Daizee about Paco. Daizee's heart broke thinking of Paco's son, Santiago. The little boy was too sweet and kind for this harsh world, and Paco did everything he could for the boy. Nestor told her that Izzy and Alvarez would look after Santiago for the night, and his mom would come get him in the morning.

Nestor and Daizee spent a passionate moment in bed and then followed it with a relaxing bath. Daizee took Nestor's hair out, and helped him wash it. Between the two of them, their conditioner bill was high. Even though Mateo wasn't theirs, they both hoped that he would have curly hair like them.

"I can feel you staring." Nestor mumbled, opening his eyes slowly. Nestor looked at Daizee's soft skin as she left her upper half exposed, the lower half covered with a blanket, "Got hot again?" Nestor smirked.

"You're like a fucking heater." Daizee groaned, and turned on her side, to face him. She gently pushed the hair out of his face tucking it behind his ear. Nestor gently grabbed her wrist and kissed it softly, "Leti will be here soon. And I wanna get to the house before Erin wakes up and annoys me." Daizee rolled her eyes thinking of the strawberry blonde Thomas sister.

"I think she likes me." Nestor smirked.

"Off limits." Daizee smiled and rolled her body on top of his, so she was straddling him, "You should let your hair down more often."

"It's almost as long as yours." Nestor said, his hands finding the ends of her curly hair, which almost reach the top of her lower back, "It'll get in the way."

"You think you'll cut it again?"

"Hell no. My hair is one of my personality traits." Nestor smiled, "Besides, what else would you pull on when-"

"Enough of that," Daizee laughed and put her hand over Nestor's mouth.

The girl smiled and laid her bare chest against Nestor's, her head laying in the crook of his neck. Nestor sighed in content and ran his rough hands down the jagged scars on her back. He still never forgave himself for the harm he did, and let Miguel do to her. The bright red burn mark that ran down her chest, that she proudly showed off, was a constant reminder of what he had down. But he was slowly starting to live with it, Daizee didn't seem to mind him touching them, or kissing them. Daizee had come to learn that Nestor, much like Mateo, loved skin to skin contact. It wasn't often Daizee or Nestor wore shirts or pants to bed. They loved the feeling of their skin touching one another.

"He'll be up-"

"If you don't speak of it, it won't come true." Daizee mumbled. Nestor chuckled as the sound of the little boy's cries came over the baby monitor, "You two conspire against me."

"Could never do such a thing." Nestor smiled and patted Daizee's back so she could move. Daizee watched as Nestor quickly threw his hair into a bun, and slipped on some black boxers before making the trek to the boys room. Both of them had learned that keeping your hair down around Mateo wasn't a good idea, the little boy loved to pull on it and place it in his mouth.

Daizee made breakfast for her, Nestor, and Leti. The young girl had basically started living in the house with Daizee and Nestor. She had told Daizee bits and pieces of Coco's pain pill addiction. Daizee knew if the club found out, Coco was a deadman walking. Nestor didn't seem to mind the younger girl being there. She was quiet, took care of Mateo, did her laundry and cleaned. She also didn't pry into their lives unlike Emily's sister, Erin.
