"Hanae-chan, Sougo will be alright, right?! He won't die, right?!" Kondo-san shook me by the shoulders as he shouted in worry while i treated Sougo's wounds. Where did the man from a few minutes before go? "Yes Kondo-san, for the 10th time, yes he will be alright. Are you doubting me?" i narrowed my eyes at him. "No! Not at all! It's just that you have an aggressive side like you fight so well and then there's also this soft side of you like you own a restaurant so i-" "Kondo-san what are you even mumbling about? Listen, I've been treating the wounded since i was at a young age so I know what I'm doing" i said bandaging Sougo's arm. A sudden explosion occurred blasting us five deep into the train. I think i was unconscious for like a minute or two before my eyes opened. "Ah shit.." i touched the back of my head and realized my hand was wet. No worries, it will heal soon I stood up and looked around me. "Seems like the train wasn't the one that exploded" my eyes moved around the broken bridge. Fortunately the people around me was safe causing me to sigh a breath of relief. Sudden loud noise was heard and i looked up to where it was coming from. A helicopter came into the view as it circled the train that was on the opposite bridge. Wait.. TOSHIROU! i gasped before moving towards the front. As i went forward i saw Ito hanging on the edge of the train and if he moved even slightly, he would fall off the bridge. My eyes darted to his left and they immediately widened. A hand.. wait.. is that..? No no-
Sudden bullets fired at Ito and as he tried to hide himself, his clothe that was stuck into a large nail was starting to tear off bit by bit. What should i do? Should i save him? But he tried to assassinate Kondo-san. He's the enemy of Shinsengumi. As i was contemplating on what to do, someone rushed past through me and held Ito's hand. "What the" it was Kondo-san who jumped off to save Ito and as soon as his feet left the ground i grabbed them. The two men exchanged words with each other and at some point it was starting to bother me caz we would be shooted anytime again. "Ah if you men are done talking, can i pull you up? You oldies are sure heavy" i gritted through my teeth. "Y-Yes Hanae-chan, very sorry" Kondo-san spoke before i started pulling both of them back on train. As i was doing it, the firing began.
"What the hell you piece of shits?! Stop firing!" i shouted as i hurriedly pulled them up. Thankfully none of the bullets hit them and as we were about to go back inside, two bullets pierce through my shoulder and left arm. URGH! i stumbled on my footing and grabbed onto the near seat for support. "Hanae-chan!" as Kondo-san shouted coming towards me, the firing again continued. "No! Go back-" "What are you doing?! Hurry up and run!" a voice shouted from behind me. I was too busy to look at but after a few seconds Ito jumped followed by Kondo-san followed by Sougo followed by Shinpachi followed by Kagura followed by- "Oh fucking hell!" i immediately locked my feet onto the legs of the seats and grabbed onto Kagura's body. "GET BACK UP HURRY! I can't hold onto much longer!"
"H-Hey, look!" Shinpachi pointed behind us after they all climbed back up. "Now what hap-" i turned around and my frown immediately deepened. "Tch, these bastards. They don't learn" i clenched my jaw and stood up as i saw a large number of people, enemies of course, coming inside the train. I grabbed onto my sword before charging at them. Shouts and screams erupted from behind me in worry causing me to smile a bit. "Don't kill me off yet!" i said out loud cheerily before kicking the enemies. Since my dominant hand was shot, i grabbed the sword with the other one and flung it at them. Another sound of running footsteps came from behind me causing my ears to perk up a bit. This can't be possible. There shouldn't be any enemies behind me. As i was about to turn to fight off, i immediately stopped my attack. "Let me give a hand as well!" Hijikata said slicing the man in front of me. "Sure, if you can keep up"
