3rd Person POV
"Welcome to the Fortress of Solitude." Kara announces to Nia. Kara, Nia, and Brainy walk into the main room of the Fortress of Solitutude
Nia looks around, amazed. "I mean, it sure beats the hell out of your loft." Nia says
"Hey! That place is rent-controlled." Kara defends with a laugh and Nia laughs as well. "And this works great for training. Plus, you have Kelex, too." She says as Kelex, the small robot, flies into the room
"I did not know we would be receiving more guests." Kelex says
"You have a robot?" Nia asks, amazed and excited
"Caretaker Android Mark IV with many other functions." Kelex says
"Kelex, this is Nia Nal." Kara tells Kelex. "Give her anything she needs. And I think Lois already introduced you to Brainy, right?"
"Hello, Kleenex." Brainy grumbles
"It's Kelex, Querl." Kelex retorts
"Don't you have to dust the cosmic anvil or something?" Brainy asks Kelex. Kelex flies away, leaving the room
"Okay..." Kara trails off, looking between Brainy and where Kelex had left to. "Holler if you need me." She says, leaving the room. Kara walks through the hallways and down a few levels of the icy fortress. "Willow?" She whispers as she goes down another level. She looks around. "Willow?" She whispers again
"Kara!" Willow exclaims and the two girls hug
"I know it's only been a few days but I missed you." Kara tells Willow while they hug
"I missed you too." Willow tells her with a small laugh
Footsteps sound and the girls pull apart as Marvin walks over. "You know touching is dangerous for the two of you, right?" He tells the two girls. "You need to minimize how much you hug." He says, patting Willow on the shoulder before turning and walking back over to where he was sitting on the floor
With his back to the two girls, Willow rolls her eyes dramatically to which Kara lets out a laugh. Kara looks around. "I see you guys have made yourselves at home." She says, noting the area
"Yup." Willow says. "Two beds, courtesy of Kelex." She says, gesturing to the beds. "I train on the main floor and we live down here. Kelex brings us food but we have a lot of non-perishables. We had to ditch a lot of our clothes when we came here. Can't exactly park a car outside."
"No you cannot." Marvin says, typing on his tablet. "Had to get rid of the car."
"Sorry." Kara says, wincing slightly in sympathy. She looks at Willow. "This was the only arrangement I could think of in the moment." She says, gesturing around the place
"It's fine." Willow says. "It's safe and I still have ties to National City. To me, it's perfect." She tells Kara
"Great." Kara says. "There is someone upstairs I want you to meet. Don't worry, I'll explain to her about the arrangement."
"You mean the arrangement that J'onn thinks I'm across the country?" Willow says
"She knows how to keep a secret." Kara promises. "Come on."
"Be safe." Marvin calls to Willow as the two girls go up a few levels to the main level where there is some chatter
They are about to turn the corner when Willow stops in her tracks. "What's wrong?" Kara asks, walking back over to her
"Shh." Willow tells Kara. Willow peers around the corner to see Nia Nal in the main room with Brainy. "I know that girl. That's Nia Nal."
"How do you know her?" Kara asks
