3rd Person POV

"I don't think you can even fathom how much I dislike you right now." Willow says, tossing her backpack onto the floor of her apartment in National City

"You miss subzero temperatures in Alaska that badly?" Marvin questions, walking in behind her

"No." Willow grumbles, plopping onto the couch and putting her feet on the coffee table. "I just don't wanna be here."

"Yes, you do." Marvin says. "I can tell. You just needed a push."

"I feel like you shouldn't push people." Willow says. "Isn't that peer pressuring?"

"Hey, smartass." Marvin says to her, pushing her feet off the coffee table and sitting next to her. "You want to be here. You just needed a little help to actually admit it." He sits down. "I know you're probably not ready for anything right now let alone going to work–"

"Actually, I think going to work might be good for me." Willow says

"Really?" Marvin asks

"Yeah." Willow says. "I think I need to go to the office for a little...I got some photos to catch up on since, you know, I missed quite a bit." She says, standing up from the couch and smoothing down her shirt

"Oh, you're going right now?" Marvin asks

"It's been over a month." Willow says with a shrug. "If I wait another day, I won't go."

"It is six in the morning." Marvin points out

"All the more reason to go now." Willow says. "I've got a whole day ahead of me and a lot of work to catch up on." And with that, she walks out of the room

"Oh, my god!" A voice exclaims behind Willow. Willow is pulled from her trance as she hears Nia's voice in the doorway behind her

"Nia?" Willow asks, turning around

"You're back!" Nia exclaims, running over and hugging Willow

Willow freezes before closing her arms over her body in an "x" shape and blocking Nia's hug. Nia is pushed away and looks at Willow, turning her head. "Sorry..." Willow whispers, dropping her hands by her sides. "It's just...um...what are you doing here?" She asks

"I, uh, I check your office every day wondering if you're back." Nia says. "I already checked this morning but I thought before I clocked out for the night that I'd check again. Had a feeling." She says with a shrug. "What are you doing in the dark?" She asks, gesturing to the room where the lights are off and the blinds are closed

Willow ignores the question and goes back to Nia's first comment. "You check every day to see if I'm here?" She asks

"Well, we are a training team." Nia says with a shrug

"Oh..." Willow whispers

"And...after everything that happened with Kara...I just wanted to know if you were okay." Nia says. "And my question is probably already answered. It looks like you've had your office like this all day which probably means you didn't want anyone to know you were back..." Willow sighs. "I'm right, aren't I?" Willow nods. "I'm here if you want to talk." She tells Willow

"Thank you." Willow says. "I really do appreciate it I just...I don't think I'm quite ready to see anyone yet..."

"That's totally okay." Nia says. "You know where to find me when you are. Good night."

"Night." Willow says as Nia leaves the room

"What is this place?" Kara asks, walking into some kind of secret base where J'onn is
