3rd Person POV

Dear Kara,

If you're reading this, that means we found you...but it also means that I am gone. And I'm probably never coming back

Every time I am around you, something bad happens. I can't be in National City knowing that you will be in danger every time you're with me. And while it hurts like hell that I can't be with the woman that I fell in love with...it would hurt even more if something awful happened to you and I was once again the cause of your pain

I was supposed to be your protector. I was supposed to always keep you safe. And day after day, year after year, mission after mission...I have failed. I have failed over and over again and I am not worthy to be your protector...or your lover

I know that you deserve more than just a letter and I know that this is a crappy way of saying this but...I need to go. And I need you to be okay with that. I need you to move on. I need you to live your life. I need you to be happy...

I will always love you,

Willow Greene

"Marvin, she doesn't want to be found." Alex tells Marvin as he puts his tablet into his backpack and zips it up. Alex is holding the letter from Willow in her hand, the two of them having just found it when after realizing that Willow is nowhere to be found

"She's the stupidest person alive if she thinks that I'm not going after her." Marvin tells Alex, putting his coat on

"How do you even know where to start looking for her?" Alex asks

"She's only been to a handful of places." Marvin reasons, putting his backpack on his shoulders. "California, Mexico, Alaska, and Delaware. As much as I don't want to admit it, J'onn was right. Willow is a girl of patterns." He tells Alex. "She runs away when things get hard."

"That's not her fault." Alex says

"I never said it was." Marvin says. "I said that it was mine."

"It's not your fault either." Alex tells Marvin

"Yes it is, Danvers...yes, it is." Marvin tells Alex. "She was my soldier but I could have taught her how to...I don't know, actually be a human being."

"You did your best with what you were given." Alex tells Marvin. "You were part of a brainwashing organization that didn't let you or her feel emotions. That is not her fault and it is not your fault."

"Regardless, she is a girl of pattern." Marvin says. "There are two places this girl could be. Delaware or Alaska. Delaware is her home and Alaska, well..."

"What's in Alaska?" Alex asks

Marvin scoffs before answering. "The Fortress of Solitude." He says, turning around to leave through the door

"Wait." Alex says with a sigh

Marvin turns around. "Danvers, I do not have time for this. I need to go." He tells her

"I know." Alex says. "I want to come with you."

Dear Kara,

You're probably never going to find this letter. Actually, you are never going to find this letter. Because I'm not sending it anywhere. If I sent it to an address, that would mean that you could find me. I don't want to be found but I want you to know that I'm okay. I am OKAY

Getting here under the radar was no easy task. I wasn't able to use my telekinesis to help me fly because then the others would be able to track my kryptonetic signature. I was a stowaway on a train and then on a boat. And now, I've landed here
