3rd Person POV
J'onn (disguised as Kelly) is walking down the streets in hope to lure his brother out of hiding. And he does. Malefic appears. "You cannot run, human." His voice booms
"I'm no human, brother." J'onn says, transforming into his normal self. He says something ina an alien language
"When the ones you love turn their back on you, that's pain." Malefic booms. "But you'll see, when you suffer the way you made me suffer. You can't touch me without hurting yourself."
"That's why he brought me." Supergirl says, dropping onto the scene
Supergirl punches Malefic, throwing him backwards
"We came prepared." Brainy says, revealing himself, Alex, and DEO agents
"You can't incept any of us now." Alex says
"Don't be so sure." Malefic says, incepting an agent
"Agent Blake?" Alex asks as the agent turns her gun on Alex and Brainy and shoots. But the bullet never makes it to them because a green forcefield is shot up in front of them. The bullet clanks to the ground as Willow becomes visible in front of the two she has just protected
J'onn tries to trap Malefic but he disappears

"The Martian protocol is in place." Brainy says as him, Supergirl, and J'onn walk throught the halls of the DEO. They arrive at the control room where Willow is standing by the center table with Alex to her right
"At least Malefic won't get in here." J'onn says
"Hey, Brainy. What the hell happened?" Alex asks. "Malefic should have not been able to phase through the Phantom Zone projector. And our psychic inhibitors, he fried them."
"Malefic's brain is unlike any other Green Martian." Brainy explains. "I tried to calibrate both to his unique physiology, but–"
"That was our one shot at tricking him." Alex tells him. "He could be after the real Kelly, my Kelly right now."
"We are not gonna let that happen." Supergirl promises. "There's gotta be another way we can track him. Something we're missing. What did he yell at you, J'onn? Synd'ar'k?"
"Uh, I don't know. It's, um, it's a dialect I've not heard before." J'onn says
"We can't afford any more missteps." Alex says. "I'm having the Verdex Blaster brought up from the armory."
"What?" Supergirl exclaims
"Alex. That Verdex Blaster was designed by Hank Henshaw to kill Green Martians, specifically me. It's a last resort." J'onn says
"Hank Henshaw was wrong about you, but Malefic is exactly the kind of Martian that this blaster was designed for." Alex says
"Hang on, wait, wait, wait. Let's not rush into this." Supergirl says. "Because if we had had the Verdex Blaster, Malefic could've incepted one of us to use it on J'onn. Let's at least have Brainy try to fix it first."
"Okay. Okay." Alex whispers
"Excellent. I shall adjust the Phantom Zone projector's wavelengths so Malefic cannot phase through it while simultaneously recalibrating the psychic inhibitor frequencies all to distract myself from my broken heart." Brainy says, annoyed and Willow turns her head
"Uh, what?" Supergirl asks
"What? Nothing." Brainy says. "Why? What did you hear?"
"Maybe we should call in Lena for backup." Supergirl suggests and he phone buzzes. She looks to see who's calling and gestures for Willow to come closer so they could both hear. "Nia, what's up?"
