3rd Person POV
Willow and Marvin didn't even get a chance to leave the Fortress of Solitude before Kelex had informed the two that James Olsen had been shot and was in the hospital. So now, an invisible Willow, paces quietly around the hospital waiting room. Marvin stayed in the Fortress and the only people who knew that there was an invisible girl in the waiting room was Brainy (who could see Willow's body) and Kara (who, when she concentrated and took her glasses off, could see Willow's kryptonetic signature)
Lena rushes over, wrapping Kara in a hug. "Oh, Kara, thank God you're okay." Lena breathes out in relief. "I heard what happened at CatCo, and I wasn't sure." She says, pulling away
"No one else was hurt, just James." Kare tells her
"Is he all right?" Lena asks
"They're about to operate, but his, um, his spine was badly injured." Kara says. "We don't know what's gonna happen."
"Okay, where is he?" Lena asks
"He's upstairs, but they said he can't have visitors yet." Kara says
"Well, I'm not a visitor. I own this hospital." Lena says through her teeth, trying to leave but Brainy puts a hand on her shoulder
"Little boxes, comrade." Brainy tells Lena, stopping her. Lena nods, takes a deep breath, and walks down the hallway. "What exactly transpired?" He asks and Willow wants to know as well
"All I know is that he was shot in his own office from behind." Kara says. "They used a hollow-point bullet. It... splintered."
"Who would so something so horrible?" Nia asks
"Someone without a soul." J'onn says, walking over. And Willow, invisible, goes frozen next to Brainy. J'onn had stopped right next to her. "This has to be Manchester Black." He says, not paying attention to Brainy's small head movements to tell Willow to move to a different spot. "At the march, he threatened me. He swore to come after me and my family, everyone I care about. Seems he started with James."
"We have to find him." Kara says
"Stay with James." J'onn says. "He needs his friends right now. I'll find Manchester. This ends today." And with that, he walks out

"Will." Brainy whispers, nudging Willow's arm and nodding for her to follow him. The two get on the elevator. "What are you doing here?" He asks her once the doors closed
"James got shot." Willow says, still invisible
"I know that." Brainy says. "But I thought you were supposed to be leaving."
"Kelex told us what happened." Willow replies. "Marvin let me come but I have to stay invisible. Which reminds me, we never actually figured out why you can see me when I'm invisible."
"I figured it out a long time ago." Brainy says
"Care to share with the class?" Willow asks
"When you released all the kryptonite into outer space, I was there." Brainy says. "I got a residual blast that connects me to your invisible signature." Willow turns her head, listening intently. "I'm also from the future and a lot smarter than anyone here."
"Hey!" Willow exclaims, playfully hitting Brainy in the shoulder
"Future knowledge beats photographic memory every time, Willow Greene." Brainy tells her with a smile. "Now, as long as you're here, you can do some investigating."
"What do you need me to do?" Willow questions
