The text message disheartens her because she can't get the thought out of her head about what has happened. Her chest tightened at the beauty of words as the love Rory had given her finally felt genuine. The baby kicks again, annoyed at Ryleigh, recalling those sad thoughts,

'Alright, little one, I'll finish it.' She strokes her bump.

The sun sets over the mountains, Rory sneaks up behind her and grips her waist. She falls onto him, causing a fire in her belly to erupt, and his stubble tickles on the side of her cheek. He nuzzles into her neck, making her giggle.

'Baby, come over here. I have something to show you.' He says this as he takes her hand in his and walks back to where he left the bike and guitar.

Ryleigh relaxes on the rock as Rory leans on the bike with the guitar in his lap. It makes the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, and she wishes he would take her in his arms once more. He looks at Ryleigh as he struts the guitar to make sure it's in tune.

'You're amazing, you know that.' Rory says, and she chuckles.

'You don't stop, do you.'

'I can't help it.' The desire in his eyes only makes her beg for more, and his smirk makes her body tingle.

'I wrote this for you,' He continues, 'I almost played this one in the competition, but I told myself, it's not right yet. I needed it to be perfect.'

She blushes a little, and he blushes as well.

'Now it's ready.' He prepares to play the first chord.

A situation that we weren't prepared,

But you're the best thing I've ever had,

We met in those awkward times,

In my head, I was already calling you mine.

Let me, let me,

Lie with you naked in my bed,

Let me, let me,

Tell you how much I'm fucked up in my head.

There's no crime, let's fall in love tonight,

Stay with me forever,

Let those lips be mine, let's not pretend,

She takes my breath away,

Please don't go, I want you to stay,

Be more than my Valentine.

You hold your cards to your chest,

I see your deal, I see those hands,

Touch me again, imprint on me,

Make my life a reason to live.
