Dexter looked at the family ring. She knew this meant a lot to him. The family ring with something with a a lot of meaning behind it. It almost felt like a promise ring.

"The family ring?" Robert asked looking at her hand.

Finn and Colin were out in classes while Robert and Dexter were in her apartment studying.

"Yeah." She said but trying to avoid the conversation so she pulled out her political science book.

"You know, it means that he's getting more serious with you right?" Robert stated confirming with Dexter already knew.

"Yes, I know that." She said bring her hand with the ring closer to her face kissing the ring.

The two friends continue to study together Robert has a very important chemistry exam coming up soon and he needed to pass it.

Dexter was in Logan's place and they all sat around studying together.

"I noticed things are getting a little interesting in between you and my sister. " Dexter said making Logan smile.

"Yeah, just keeping it casual." He said.

The rest of the guys in the group looked at Dexter wondering what her face reaction would be to his statement.

"That's nice." Dexter said, anyone that knows her knows that it's totally fake.

The guys were going to have their poker game well her and Finn, were going on a date night.

It was a simple date that made Dexter feel a lot better. She's just been in a dark place lately losing her grandfather, her great grandfather, and just the lack of communication from her mom and father wasn't helping.

He took her to a nice little Italian restaurant in New York. They had a great time with lasagna and mozzarella sticks and they had a white wine together.

He was such a gentleman to her, she wanted to be a good supporting girlfriend.
