Ian was doing homeworks with Ezekiel. Even if he is only 9 years old, he was admitted in Ezekiel's class because he passed the tests to learn in Class 4. The teacher came to them "Ezekiel I have good news for you. You are going to be adopted soon."

Ezekiel ignored her and looked at Ian and saw Ian was also looking at him.
"I am not going anywhere."

The teacher was surprised. She wanted to persuade Ezekiel "Ezekiel. You are now 11 years old.  You are already too old to be adopted, there is a good chance now. You can have a new family."

But he just ignored her and grabbed Ian's wrist "Let's go."

Ian closed his books and let Ezekiel pull him. Ezekiel took him to the garden and sat under the tree. He hugged Ian "I am not going anywhere.....nor you are."

Ian smiled "uh-huh.."

But Ian didn't know that Ezekiel will be forced to leave soon.

Ian saw the man again who came 2 years ago. Then the children were adopted.

This time the man was in their room staring at them. He looked at Ezekiel "why don't you want to get adopted. Don't you want a new home."

Ezekiel stared back at the man "my home is here with Ian. I am not going anywhere where I Can't stay with Ian."

The man looked at Ian. "Oh... how old are you child."

Ian can saw a urgency in his opponent's eyes "....9"

The man nodded "okay. He can go with you. I will pick everyone up tomorrow at 10 am sharp."

The man looked at Ezekiel and Ian again. He smiled and turned to leave.

Ian's grip on Ezekiel's hand tightened. Ezekiel looked at Ian "I am not leaving you alone."

Ian nodded and looked down. A coldness flashed in his eyes as He smirked while saying "I know"

As the man said he came to pick them up at 10 am sharp. Ian saw Xiaomei and Ellen getting in the car with them. It was a little crowded because there are no more boys with them. They said their name is Lu Min and August. They are from another orphanage.

Ezekiel didn't care about them. He just let Ian sit near the window to separate him from others.

Xiaomei wanted to talk with Ian and when she saw Ezekiel glaring at her. She closed her mouth.

It was almost dusk when the man asked them to get off from the car.

Ian saw the building in front of him. It was heavily guarded. The man led them into the building and when they all went in, the door was closed behind them by the guard.

The man look at the children. "This will be your new home. Follow Cheshire, he will lead you to your rooms. Let's meet tomorrow at 9 am sharp. I don't know what you did in your orphanage but you have to be disciplined and obedient here."

They were led to a room where there are 4 beds in bunk system. 2 bunks and 2 beds in each bunks. Ezekiel took the left bottom bed and Ian took the top bed while Xiaomei took the right top bed and Ellen took the bottom bed.

The other boys are led to another room. Ian seem to realise something but then he felt a ache in his head and forgot what he remembered now.

Ezekiel looked at him. "What happened?"

Ian shook his head and his stomach make a loud noise "....I am hungry. "

They only had breakfast in the morning. Everyone is hungry now. Xiaomei looked at Ian "I am also hungry."

Someone knocked at the open door "Dinner time. Let's go"

They looked at the door and saw a teenager standing there.

Ezekiel took Ian's hand and followed the teenager to eat.

The dinner was better than the orphanage. But nobody touched the food. At last when the bell rang at  9 pm sharp, they started to eat slowly.

Their group are also forced to follow the rules.
