After finishing the horde quest, we reported back to Abigail and soon went back to the guild itself to report that we completed the quest. Before we went back to the guild though, Abigail offered some of the alchemy plants as thanks.

Considering her knowledge on Alchemy, I asked if she and I could make some potions together with the plants from the village. She agreed and we went back home after that.

It is currently night time. Lilith should be asleep right now, so I won't have to worry about her coming into my room and try to sleep in my bed. Mainly because I wasn't there at the moment.

I was currently flying through the woods near a town south of the city. I was also in my Alastor outfit, which meant I was currently bandit hunting.

Apparently, there's a big shot bandit hideout near the town, so I'm checking it out. The bandit group calls themselves The Red Hounds. I got the information about them from the Guild Master, who I asked about any bandits or criminal organizations related to Aarc.

It seems the Red Hounds are one of Aarc's associates, meaning they work with each other from time to time. The guys deal in illegal weapon trading and also slaves. The weapons to sell are at least A-rank and there are a couple of S-rank weapons mixed in too.

They're pretty dangerous, but since they backed up by Aarc and a couple of other well-known criminal bosses, no one can usually touch them. Well, that ends now.

I soon made it to the town that the Red Hounds' base was nearby called Dawnvale. It was a pretty average-looking town. Nothing really stood out to me, but I reminded myself that I didn't come here to sightsee and went on with my mission.

Activating [Map] and [Monitor], I scoured the town for any members of the Red Hounds. The reason why is because I feel like this place was pretty much owned by the bandit group.

...And I was unfortunately right. The entire map was filled with red dots, showing the members of the Red Hounds group. This just got way more troublesome.

"Tch...to think these guys took control of a town," I grumbled.

{They're just bandits, so dealing with them should be easy!} Gamma assured me.

{There's more to an enemy than just their strength, Gamma. The fact that this town is pretty much under their control means these guys got plenty of power backing them.} Alpha stated.

{Definitely. Especially since the info, we received about these guys didn't tell us this. That means that this bandit group is keeping themselves hidden and preventing any leaks about their control over the city.}

[Alpha and Omega are right. These bastards are obviously in control of information that leaves and enters the town. The fact that not even the Guild master knew about this shows how troublesome they are.]

As a Guild Master, James has influence over the city and the towns surrounding it. That means he'll be informed of things that he needs to know about. The fact that he didn't know about the Red Hounds' current activities meant that this was being kept secret.

"Hmm...considering the current situation, what should I do?" I mused.

{Let's look for their leader. Considering that the information James told us could be false info, we'll have to find the leader with [Map].}

"Good idea, Alpha." I then activated [Map]'s search function again and tried looking for the Leader of the Red Hounds.

According to what I was told, the Leader was Ray Zinx, so I put in his name to see if I got any results, and I actually did. There was definitely a person named Ray Zinx and it seems he was indeed the leader of the Red Hounds.
