After everything that happened with Anri and Tora, we finally managed to get back to the palace without any further problems. Once we did, we were greeted by Sayuri, who stood beside Hanami, the Head Maid.

When Anri saw her grandmother, she looked scared. No, not scared but guilty. Guilty of always ignoring and distancing herself from her grandmother, especially after the death of her mother and Sayuri's daughter.

However, Sayuri didn't look angry or even irritated at Anri. If anything, she looked happy.

As Sayuri approached us, I noticed that Anri started to get nervous. Her hands shook more and more as Sayuri got close to us.

Once the Seer was right in front of us, she looked at Anri. Anri, on the other hand, looked like she was about to tear up again.

"G-grandmother...I-I'm..." Anri tried to speak up, but she could find the words to express how she felt...how sorry she felt for all she did.

"It's alright, dear," Sayuri then hugged Anri gently. "You don't have to worry about what happened in the past, okay? I understand."

Once again, Anri started to tear up, hugging her grandmother deeply. It was quite a sight, seeing the Oni Captain act this way.

Once Anri was done crying, she and Sayuri went off to another room, probably to catch up after everything that happened. Meanwhile, the rest of us stayed behind.

"You should probably go with them," I told Tora.

"Nah." She shook her head. "Those two have a lot more to catch up on than I do. I'll check up on them later though."

"I see..." I was a little surprised to hear this. I thought Tora would jump at the opportunity to spend time with Anri and Sayuri after everything.

I guess even Tora knows when to read the room, huh?

"Anyways, we should probably be focusing on the prophecy that Anri saw. You know, the one where I die, apparently."

"Right," I sighed, getting down to business.

Before we got back to the palace, Anri just got a new vision on Tora's future death. When she did, she was about to leave once again, but after some convincing, we managed to calm her down.

After that, we got Anri to tell us what exactly she saw in her vision. From what she saw, Tora was being bounded by three people. Two of them were girls and one of them was a man, or at least, Anri believed it was a man.

Curious, I asked if one of the girls was Nocticula, and after giving me a good description of them, I can confirm that the witch was there. As for the other woman, she appeared to be a fox-folk or a fox-dweller like Kuzunoha.

As for the supposed man, he was wearing some kind of cloth covering his face. But, he appeared to be an exorcist from his outfit.

The three of them started performing some kind of spell and when they were finished, War emerged and Tora died in the process. When Anri talked about Tora's death, she turned pale and couldn't stop shaking. Tora had to hold on to her just to calm her down.

"Considering I'm destined to die," Tora spoke up. "Does that mean I'm sitting this fight out?"

I looked at Tora, not knowing what to say. I certainly want her to stay out of this fight...but I knew that Seer wouldn't allow it. Plus, with everything that's happening, we'll need the assistance of all four Guardians.

"Sayuri's likely going to object to that...which means that there's a way to save you, without you having to stay out of the fight."

"Isn't that a bit risky, though?"
