"That's enough for now," Zemmi told us. "We'll be taking a break."

Her sudden declaration caused Anri, Tora, and I to collapsed from exhaustion. As we were breathing heavily, Valdr laughed heartily at us.

"You three are improving quite well! Your reflexes and battle intuition is getting better by the day. Be proud of that!"

"And yet we still can't defeat you guys..." Tora grumbled.

"We're not exactly people who can be defeated easily, Tora," Zemmi reminded her. "I'm a First Generation and the daughter of the Dragon King and first Dragon, Bahamut, while Valdr is the son of War and the God of War as well. Our strength should speak for itself."

"We're aware, which makes it even more frustrating..." I chimed in. "Especially for me since I'm technically supposed to be stronger than the two of you."

Due to me being a Demi-Elder and having [Absolute Domain], I should've been stronger. But, they had one thing I still lacked; experience.

These two lived a pretty long time, which means they've seen their fair share of fights, unlike me who never fought in my old world and only recently started doing it in this world.

Plus, [Absolute Domain] is difficult to control unlike normal skills like [Swordsmanship] that gives the user a certain amount of expertise the higher the skill rank it is. And that was the other issue, I relied too much on that skill that helped me fight instead of doing the fighting on my own.

The fact that although I've gotten stronger yet still can't make these two sweat makes me more or less agitated.

"You'll get there soon enough, Damien," Zemmi tried to assure me. "Once you have more control over [Absolute Domain], you'll give Valdr here a real hard time."

"...Tch," Valdr simply clicked his tongue, probably in agreement with Zemmi that once I grow strong enough, I would be a difficult opponent for him.

That's definitely something I was looking forward to in the future.

"Alright, me and Valdr need to go talk to Sayuri about our war preparations. I would go on my own, but this idiot here seems to want to join our forces."

Huh? Valdr's getting involved with the Askon battle? I looked at the God of War who looked away while scoffing.

"A war in Askon is a very dangerous and exciting display. Because I'm the God of War, I want to see the fight up close."

Great, so this guy's going to be watching the war like it's some kind of tv show? What, are you going to make some popcorn as well for your show?

"Quit looking at me like that, kid," Valdr fumed. "I'm not doing this just to watch, alright?"

"Then what's the real reason?"

"That's...none of your business," It looked like he was about to say the reason but turned away while brushing me aside.

Man, this god is getting on my nerves...

"Anyway, we'll be going now," Zemmi said, leaving with Valdr in tow.

Once they were gone, only Tora, Anri, Thana, and myself remained in the training area. We were all pretty exhausted from all the training.

I was planning on just lying on the ground for a little while, but Tora had other plans.

"Let's go into the city and get some food!" Tora pumped her fist in the air, declaring this to us.

Despite doing an intense training session, she was still full of energy. I found that both impressive and enviable.
