Part 55 Good boy Arnav
Khushi rushed to Garima and hugged her. Arvind and Ratna welcomed them, joining their hands.
*Hello uncle... hi aunty* Arnav greeted them.
Before Khushi took the bags from Shashi's hand, Arnav took them. Arnav gestured Khushi to be with them and walked toward their room, taking Khushi's bags.
*Hari Prakash... bring coffee* Ratna said.
Hari Prakash started preparing coffee as he already boiled the milk.
*We would like to arrange the reception on Sunday* Arvind said.
*Ok... whatever you say, we are fine with that* Shashi said.
Garima nodded yes.
HP came with a coffee tray and served them.
*Are you really satisfied with this reception, Garimaji? * Ratna asked.
*What can we do Ratnaji? They got married already. We are not lucky enough to see our children's marriage...* Garima said sadly.
Ratna looked at Arnav who just came and sat in front of them.
*We can do nothing about it Garimaji. To save Khushi from Vikas, Arnav had to do that. Or else, Khushi's life would have spoilt... we should be happy because it didn't happen* Shashi tried to console Garima.
*Of course, I'm happy about it. Yet, the thought of not seeing our children's marriage will remain in our heart forever... she is our only daughter after all...* Garima said sadly.
Khushi felt bad whereas Arnav was suffocating. Khushi pouted at him.
*We can do nothing about it, Garimaji...*
As no one expected,
*Aunty, don't worry. I'm ready to marry Khushi again if you feel bad* Arnav said.
Arvind, Ratna, and Khushi looked at him thunderstruck. They could not believe Arnav just uttered that. Garima's face brightened.
*No, Arnav... what if Vikas got to know about it and troubles us again? * Shashi asked.
*Then, we can perform it within us... I mean, only yours and our family... in RM* Arnav said.
Shashi looked at Garima who nodded ok delightedly. Ratna dropped her jaw. What this boy is up to?
*Oh, sure... we will perform it tomorrow here itself* Garima said.
*What say, Mom...? * Arnav asked.
*Is not Arnav bituwa's idea good? * Garima said.
*Yeah... it makes sense...* Shashi said with a smile.
*No one gets to know about the marriage if it happens in RM. When the reception happens, people will get to know Arnav and Khushi are married* Garima said excitedly.
*Yes, aunty... Khushi is your only daughter. I can understand your feelings and it's justified. The sadness will reside in your heart forever if it doesn't happen... being a good son-in-law, I don't want you to feel sad about it...* Arnav said making a sad face.
*How thoughtful you are...? * Garima said.
Arnav nodded like a good boy. Arvind, Ratna, and Khushi were looking at him as if he is an alien.
*See, this is what Arnav bituwa is... how beautifully he understands our feelings...* Garima said delightedly.
Arnav smiled at her.
