I went to get some stuff at the store.
Don't want to run out of stuff no more.
The guy in front of me in line was really getting rude with the checkout girl.
Her eyes now widened then turned and pierced mine.
Oh hell! Now what?
Out of nowhere, I just said to him, "Bless your heart".
His head jerked back in surprise.
In a more stern voice "Now! Smile at her!". In a much calmer voice, "Then let's push restart. It'd do her good, and you'd be very smart right now".
I never once thought he might have a gun.
But he left his stuff and hit the door.
I just need some stuff from the store.
Don't want to run out of stuff no more, nothin more.
You never know what you're gonna run in to out there, right now.
So, be ready to see who you might not be ready to be and BE CAREFUL!
