Imagine a world where everyone must clear the land to grow food for their family

Imagine a world where fighting to survive after fleeing a homeland of autocratic misery for the masses

Imagine persevering through the growing pains of forming a logical governing body. Modeling it after ancient Greece, Venice, or a wise successful indigenous people

Imagine generations gifted by history

Imagine generations enjoying a world where many people don't realize how lucky they are to afford not knowing how lucky they are. They don't realize how much they have to lose. Sound familiar?

This reminds me of some old wisdom I heard from an older man who holds court at the coffee shop I go to. He proclaimed in a disgusted growl, "What I see in this world today is the first generation builds it, the second generation enjoys it, then the third generation destroys it. Pigs moved into the house and are even eating pork. Like blind men running toward a cliff."

He dropped his foam coffee cup in the trash, reached up turned off the TV, turned toward us, and said, "They were told fake cliff on the news", and walked out the door.
