There are acrobatic performances, high-wire excitement, animal acts, jugglers, the dare-devil shot from a cannon, the oohs and ahhs.
A good circus has them all, especially clowns.
But it seems, the clown union has grown much larger. It's the easiest job under the big top. Even clean-up crew has harder work discipline, no clowning around there.
Lots of power now in the clown union. The union gained more members since the pandemic. Displaced middle management people, bad cops, defeated politicians, other losers joining the ranks. Resulting in too many clowns in their shows.
Now, the flying O'Fallons, Captain John the lion tamer, even the boxing bear have been replaced by clown acts.
Clowns are now impowered more so than any of the other performers.
The Flying O'Fallons are now construction workers on sky scraper projects, Captain John the lion tamer works at the zoo now where the boxing bear relocated.
An entire circus of clowns is no way a laughing matter. So, just watch the news and save the circus ticket price, or you could, instead, do something worthwhile.
