The marksmen on ice.

Curling, where have you been all my life?

Better than bowling, sliding has always been cooler fun than rolling heavy things.

Curling reminds me of shuffleboard, but much cooler fun without the seasick tourists!

Bocce, fun to play not fun to watch.

I'd be hittin the wine in no time!

What a blend of moving stuff around sports.

Curling is new to me, so I was compelled to write about it.

There's another thing about those sports.

They are performing a true action to be seen being done.

Don't know about Bocce, but usually outcomes of play are accepted without contest.

Things in place for all to see.

I like that.

No two sides to the story stuff.

Time, for me, slows.

Breathing's a joy when I spend less energy on skepticism.

Olympic curling has slid its way into the heart of many of us.

We are on the edge of our seats as the contortionist lady curler screams the stone into the desired contact or location by her sheer power level of audio manipulation.

The crowd roars their approval or sighs in disappointment as the stone slows, or bumps, or crashes into its final resting place.

For better or worse.

Strategic success or damage done.

The die is cast.

We love this simple drama.

I might just join in on this chess match on ice, if not for the healthy fear of landing on my ass.
