Science Friction And Hytnophoneia

Grandma sees Bobby, her oldest grandson, twice a month after a two hour journey.

She sits across from him at IHOP.

They have eaten pancakes for the last eight years together at Grandma's house.

Good Grandma time.

But now Bobby says nothing while eating pancakes with one hand and starring into his phone in his other hand.

Grandma now is suffering from a new disorder.

The symptoms include a depression related reaction while around others preoccupied with non-human activities.

This disorder is caused by the other disorder seen in this IHOP example, hyptnophoneia (the obsession with one's phone).

Coupled with science friction, hyptonophoneia alienated this Grandma's world by selfish disconnect.

The phone is everything now.

When teaching leaves its usual experience driven criteria.

Facts become very malleable.

Often love becomes an even harder path to share.

Life experience tells ya what traffics like out there.

Easier to learn something useful than find out the hard way, cheaper too.

Or "seems like a dream got me hypnotized, mystery to me, got me hypnotized". (Song lyrics by Fleetwood Mac)
