I've seen a lot of those red "Make America" ball caps lately
And that gave me an idea to make a statement and a few bucks, also have big fun
I made a few changes to the message and had 30 caps made in Beatrice, Nebraska
I decided to take them to Saturday's farmers market in Shalloway, Kansas
Most folks read the cap and walked away
Some saw the red caps and must have only read the "Make America" line and snatched them right upFunny thing about some folks, they saw the red cap, read "Make America", but I guess didn't read the smaller words on the second line of the cap which were in cursive
The Cap actually read:
"MAKE AMERICA
greet antichrist"Ain't it funny how some people can read only what they want it to say without the real facts
Facts? Here we go again
How much failure has occurred by ignoring the small print or, in this case, small cursive
I sold out and bolted
My plan included from now on staying the hell away from Shalloway, KansasBut now that message is out there
So buyer beware
What me worry, huh!
That's just a dirt road too far
Could be the "truth is out there" in Shalloway, KansasMy 30 pieces of silver are only worth $750
But voting is priceless
