27. Potion 4

"Let's go." Jisoo held Jennie's back and guided her forward, stopping whenever they heard wizards.

'This is sick!' Jennie hee-hawed. 'Sick!'

"Shh..." Jisoo shushed her by holding her mouth as saliva was quickly spread on her hand and Jisoo grimaced.

'I'm not doing this!' Jennie stopped in the middle of the Grand Staircase.

"We need to get you in my room." Jisoo requested for her to keep moving but the donkey refused. So this is what they mean when they say donkeys are stubborn unlike horses.

'Nope!' Jennie snorted, making Jisoo retract her hand quickly and wipe it off.

'I wait here. You get the potion.' Jennie shook her head and closed her eyes, stubbornly.

"Ugh..." Jisoo sighed but eventually jumped to another stair as it started to move and reconstruct itself. "Don't talk to anyone and hide yourself!"

Jennie didn't listen and sat down next to a painting. A ghost jumped out of it and looked at her.

'What are you looking at!?' Jennie glared. The ghost flew through her, causing her to shiver in disgust. 'I hate ghosts....'

"Rosie look! A donkey!" As soon as the ghost left, an even more annoying presence surrounded Jennie.

She recognised that voice. It belonged to the seeker of the Gryffindor Qudditch team who was always with the prefect of the Hufflepuff House.

"Woah, someone has a donkey as a pet!" Lisa bent down and touched Jennie's ears.

Jennie lifted her head and bit Lisa's fingers before scowling and making noises.

"Ah! It bit me!" Lisa pouted, withdrawing her hand.

"Oh you poor thing!" Rosé opened her arms and moved forward, so Lisa opened her arms too but Rosé walked past her and hugged the donkey instead, leaving Lisa flabbergasted.

"What about this poor thing...?" Lisa pointed to herself but Rosé wasn't listening, she was busy talking to the donkey.

"Careful Rosie... It bites." Lisa warned. However even after a minute, Rosé wasn't bitten. "Anytime now." She added, waiting another minute. "It's coming..."

The donkey glanced at Lisa, almost mockingly while Lisa waited for the inevitable, in vain.

"I don't think it likes me." Lisa muttered.

"You scared her." Rosé explained, patting the head of the donkey who nodded.

"Her...?" Lisa watched as the donkey warmed up to the Hufflepuff.

She doesn't take the difference in treatment personally. After all, Rosé is the nicest Hufflepuff. Wizards and animals all love her like she loves them.

"Hi." Jisoo skipped towards them with a potion in her hand.

"Hi! Guess what, we found a donkey." Lisa pointed to the animal.

"Oh, that's actually my donkey." Jisoo explained, causing Jennie to raise her eyebrows. "I mean, my donkey friend." She corrected as she saw Jennie's challenging look.

"Are you allowed to keep her here?" Rosé questioned.

Jisoo shook her head. "Can you two use your tall bodies and build a wall around me and the donkey?"

"Of course!" Lisa lifted her wand and summouned a wall around them.

"That's not what I- Nevermind. Thanks." Jisoo put a big coat on the donkey before making it drink the potion.
