Jennie and Lucas stood in the hallway of their high school, giggling as they watched Jisoo's reaction to the latest prank they had pulled on her. Jennie placed a fake tarantula in Jisoo's locker, causing her to jump back in surprise and let out a small yelp.

"Did you see her face?" Jennie asked Lucas, still chuckling. "Isn't Jisoo so cute?"

Lucas shrugged nonchalantly. "I guess..." He muttered, not sounding convinced.

"You don't think so?" Jennie's smile faltered.

"I don't care. It doesn't matter if she's cute or not." Lucas' tone became bitter.

Jennie bit her lip, sensing that something was bothering Lucas. "Did I go too far with the prank this time?" She asked.

"Nah, no way, you're funny. Everyone thinks so." Lucas' expression softened.

Jennie wasn't convinced. "But what if Jisoo is upset with me?" She asked, worry creeping into her voice.

Lucas rolled his eyes. "She's not upset. You're worrying too much again. I keep telling you that. You shouldn't apologise or act any differently. You are hilarious and she probably thinks the same."

Jennie hesitated. Ever since Soojoo told her off, she wasn't sure if she agreed with Lucas anymore. But she didn't want to seem weak or soft either. Lucas noticed her hesitation and egged her on.

"Soojoo is a fake saint, she acts nice to every loser, so they idolise her. Don't let her manipulate you with her words. Rather than that, you should do another prank. Lock Turtle up in the janitor's closet or something."

Jennie's eyes widened. "That's not my style." She shook her head.

"What, are you a wimp now, Kim? Too scared to play a harmless prank? Bad girl gone softie?" Lucas mocked her.

Jennie felt her cheeks flush with anger. "I'm not soft." She retorted. "Fine, I'll do it."

Lucas grinned triumphantly. "Good. Get her in there, and I'll lock the door."

Jennie hesitated once again, wondering if she was making the right choice. But before she could say anything, Lucas had already grabbed Jisoo by the arm and was leading her towards the closet. He kept taunting Jennie to push her in but she was wavering for too long. Therefore Lucas did it himself.

"Hey, what's going on?" Jisoo asked, looking confused.

"Just a little prank." Lucas grinned, locking the door from outside.

Jennie felt a burning feeling in her belly as she watched Jisoo disappear into the small space. She wondered if she should stop the prank and apologise but before she could act, Lucas already locked the door and was laughing as he dragged her away.

When they walked away, Jennie heard Jisoo banging on the door, trying to get out. She winced at the sound. But she pushed the guilt aside and forced a smile, trying to convince herself that it was just harmless fun, like Lucas kept telling her.

After they spent a whole period with her locked in, Jennie excused herself for a bathroom break to check up on her, believing that it was already long enough. But when she opened the closet, she noticed it wasn't locked anymore and Jisoo was already gone.

Jennie grabbed Jisoo's hand and pulled her towards the front of the room where most of their old classmates were conversing and sitting. As they made their way through the crowd, people's conversations trailed off and they looked up in surprise to see the two together.
