7 years later

"Our collab with Gentle Monster is sold out."

"Already?"

Jennie lifted her head and glanced at her best friend and business partner.

"It's cute that you still get surprised about that." Chahee sighed and grabbed her hand, pulling the other up.

"Where are we going?" Jennie frowned as she was pulled from her office.

"I think it's time you get yourself out there." Chahee exclaimed. "You can't keep staring at the picture of your ex-"

"I'm not doing that! You have no proof!" Jennie freed her arm and hissed at her.

"Woah, I was kidding but this reaction...?" Chahee laughed while the other pouted angrily and hit her shoulder.

"Bitch..." Jennie grumbled in anger, crossing her arms.

Suddenly she caught the figure of a raven haired woman walking past them. Jennie's eyes softened and she glimpsed at her.

It looked like it was Jisoo.

Chahee snapped her fingers in front of her and rolled her eyes.

"I know what you are thinking." Chahee noted, annoyed.

"No, you don't..." Jennie mumbled.

"Yes, I do." Chahee insisted. "That was Irene. You know, the Irene who has been dropping hints repeatedly that she was interested in you."

Oh, that's right. That was Irene, one of their best workers. Sometimes Jennie just thinks she is seeing Jisoo, because they look similar.

"Go on a date with her!" Chahee's face suddenly lit up like she had a brilliant idea.

Jennie didn't immediately say no which was a good sign for Chahee.

"Great! I'll arrange everything for you." Her friend grinned and quickly left.

Jennie felt slightly excited about this. It's been so long since she has thought about seeing anyone in that light.

Irene is totally her type. She could at least give it a try.

That's why Jennie invited her to her beach house for the weekend.

"Does the steak taste good?"

"It's perfect. Thank you."

"More wine?"

"Always."

Without further ado Jennie lifted the bottle of the expensive red wine and poured it into the glass of her date.

Her date was cutting a bit of the homemade steak and lifted her fork. Then Jennie leaned forward and opened her mouth as her date was feeding her.

"I'm so glad you finally had time for this." The woman across from her told her.

"Me too." Jennie flashed the raven haired beauty a smile. "You see, I was hesitant about dating for a long time but now-"

Jennie's speech was interrupted by the chimming of her phone. She would have ignored the call if she hadn't seen her sister's ID on the screen.

"I'm sorry, I have to take this call. I'll be right back, Irene."

"Take your time."
