The door opened and a plain ringing of the bell indicated that a group of customers arrived. They took a seat near the corner of the burger shop and read the menu. Soon their orders were brought to Jisoo who was helping out in the kitchen.

While wearing thin gloves, she touched the soft buns and filled them with little balls of grilled meat. She topped it with cheese, tomatoes, pickles, onions, lettuce and Danish remoulade. She put the finished order on a plate before the waiter took it from there and served it to the customers.

"Jisoo, you should go now. We can handle the rest on our own." Her mother Tiffany came to the kitchen and kissed the top of her head, assuring her that she was able to handle the rest of the day.

"All right." Jisoo handed her the apron, removed her hair tie and made her way to the door.

"Wait! Don't forget your breakfast!" Her other mom, Taeyeon called her back. She filled a lunchbox with a burger and fries, drew a heart with ketchup and gave it to her. Yeah right, breakfast.

Jisoo accepted the food either way and stashed it into her backpack before she bid goodbye to her moms.

She knew they were watching her so she walked a few meters until they couldn't see her anymore. She hid behind an alley and waited.

After ten minutes she heard footsteps. A smile automatically formed on her lips. She opened her arms and took her girlfriend in a tight embrace.

"I missed you, baby!" Jisoo nuzzled her smiling face to her chubby cheeks.

"We literally live across of each other, Chu." Jennie grinned, closing her eyes as her dear girlfriend rubbed their cheeks together.

"Yeah but that is the source of all our problems, you know...." Jisoo sighed, her smile falling slightly.

"Sorry babe..." Jennie lifted her arms and curled her hands around her girlfriend's cheeks. She leaned forward, pillowing their foreheads.

"Let's forget about that for now. At least, in school we can be as close as we want." Jennie tried to cheer her up, eliciting a small smile.

"True!" Jisoo's cheerful attitude returned very quickly which made Jennie giggle sweetly and steal a kiss at the same time.

"Let's go!" Jisoo grabbed her hand and dragged her ahead, Jennie stumbled after her with loving eyes aimed at her girlfriend.

"So then, I grabbed that toy gun and shot right back at him...." Lisa told them about her latest fight with her brother while stuffing her mouth full.

"I don't see why you don't get along with Bambam, he is kind." Rosé hummed, listening to her.

"If you think he's that amazing, just marry him." Lisa rolled her eyes which made Rosé rise her eyebrows in confusion. There was no need to get that defensive.

"Anyway, what about you two," Lisa pointed with her fork to Jennie and Jisoo who were holding hands under the table and whispering to each other rather than eating.

"Anything interesting happened?" Lisa inquired, gagging mentally at their flirty behaviour.

"Hm," Jisoo hummed in response, aiming a big heart-shaped smile at Jennie.

Jennie blushed in response, her fluffy cheeks turned red and so did her small ears. She covered her mouth with her palms and giggled into them.

"Uh, just so you know, me and Rosie don't speak Giggly Jen-sticky language." Lisa groaned, dropping her fork on the tray.

"Speak for yourself. I've been getting quite fluent in it." Rosé boasted proudly. "If you want me to translate, they totally made out on their way to school."
