Whit Fox Woman;

Under the bright moonlight, the white street lamp cast a bright light on the ground. The occasional breeze took away some dryness and heat, and dogs barked disturbingly.

Zhou Nan was concerned about the “the tigeress” Chen Ming mentioned and dared not run too far. He squatted down against the wall.

It was the second night he was alone after becoming a ghost.

When alive, he used to sleep to forget about all bad things. There was nothing to worry about after he closed his eyes and had nice dreams. Nightmares were not as torturing as reality, and good dreams could let people forget about reality for a while. Sleeping was the only thing Zhou Nan looked forward to every day.

It was so sad that he couldn’t even sleep now.

Zhou Nan smiled bitterly and buried his head between his legs and body.

Closing his eyes, Zhou Nan could not stop thinking about Chen Ming: his smart posture when catching ghosts, his complicated red pattern on the chest, his date look, and his helpless sigh after getting drunk.

Horrible.

Zhou Nan was not sure how he felt now. He dared not admit that he was a little happy when hearing Chen Ming say, “Break up”. Every time he thought about it, guilt filled his heart.

He asked Chen Ming, “Do you love her?”

But he never dared to ask himself, “Do you love him?”

It was just three days; this love was ridiculous.

It probably wasn’t love. It would be rooted in the heart, slowly breed, become a thorny vine, and entangle the heart of the one that refused to accept reality.

Fortunately, one month wasn’t long. As long as Chen Ming nipped this love in the bud, no one would know.

“That’s it.” He sighed deeply.

A hand suddenly fell on his shoulder, and Zhou Nan came to his senses. As if being burned, he shook violently and raised his head. It was a woman with thin brows and long eyes.

“You are Chen Ming’s ghost?” Her narrow eyes squinted, and she stared
at Zhou Nan sharply.

Zhou Nan neither knew her nor had feud with her. He was shocked by her imposing manner and forgot that ordinary people couldn’t see or touch him, “Yes”. He wondered how she approached him so quietly.

“Chen Ming is getting more and more brazen.” The woman cursed in a low voice, turning to

push the door and enter.

“Alas,

ma’am! We’re not open at night. Please…”

Annoyed

by him, the woman whipped a tail and twined it around Zhou

Nan’s waist. Zhou Nan didn’t have time to say anything and was thrown out of the house

by a strong power.

Zhou Nan steadied

himself in the air and heard the woman’s sharp voice, “What I want to do

has nothing to do with you.”

The

fluffy white tail swung and suddenly dispersed into streaks of white light and

disappeared.

Fox

monster? Zhou Nan became nervous, thinking she must have come to kill Chen

Ming when he was drunk.

He

had to do something.

“Stop!”

He summoned his courage and shouted, but the woman didn’t even look at him, let

alone listening to him.

Zhou

Nan gritted his teeth and quickly floated into the florist. He reached out his arms to block the door of the inner room, “You can’t go in.”

The

woman stopped, raised her eyebrows and said angrily, “I’ll give you

three seconds to move. One.”

“You

are looking for Chen Ming?”

“Two.”

“You… wait until he

wakes up.” Zhou Nan was afraid. His voice trembled, but he didn’t

leave.

“Three.”

“I

don’t want to hit you, don’t…”

Before

he finished speaking, he felt a fierce pounding on his abdomen. Zhou

Nan hit the door, which could not withstand the weight and broke into

pieces loudly. Zhou Nan fell on the inner room ground and was dizzy.

Awakened

by the noise, Chen Ming sat up abruptly and was almost sobered. He saw Zhou Nan

wriggling on the ground and a woman with a big foxtail.

His mind went blank and he didn’t realize what had happened.

“Why

are you here? Am I in the florist?” He asked the woman.

The

tail suddenly aimed at Chen Ming’s face, and Zhou Nan was in a cold sweat.

But

it just gently touched Chen Ming’s head, who slapped it away. “Stay away

from me. I’m allergic.” He sneezed and asked, “What are you doing

here?”

The

woman put her tail away and crossed her arms, “I felt something dirty near

your florist and came to check. Then I met this confident ghost.”

“So,

you broke my door?” Chen Ming didn’t take it seriously and smiled,

” There’s no need to clean it by yourself, leave it to me.”

Zhou

Nan listened for a while and realized they knew each other.

I just came here to warn you since you let the ghost wander around. It blocked me,

so I struck back. Any opinion?” The woman was harsh from beginning to end as if she were the owner of the florist.

Chen

Ming didn’t care. He looked at Zhou Nan and teased, ” Are you

blocking such a beautiful lady to spoil my romance?”

“I… I’m afraid this fox

monster will hurt you.” Zhou Nan was embarrassed and stood up

silently.

Surprisingly,

Chen Ming laughed at what he said and couldn’t even help it by holding his stomach.

The woman rolled up her sleeves to beat Chen Ming.

“Haha…fox monster, at

least fox immortal, haha…”

“Chen

Ming, you want a beating?”

Zhou

Nan knew he had said something wrong again.
