Everyone knows that the Demon Sparda had twin sons, Vergil and Dante. However unbeknownst to everyone, Sparda had a third son with another woman. Enter Y/N L/N, a man who spends his days as a Demon Hunter! What will happen when his half-brother catc...
So, the Order of the Sword WAS responsible for the demon attacks both on Devil May Cry and now on Fortuna! All so that they could use those knights to swoop in, save the day and appear as heroes. It was quite funny how Agnus seemed to only tell us everything because he thought said knights would be enough to kill us. He didn't exactly count on us surviving.
Now it was just a matter of finding out where he went and our best bet was likely that large metal drawbridge we saw shortly before our meeting with Agnus. The question now was how would we reach it.
The most logical idea would be to head deeper into the castle. We made our way through the large room however before we could leave through the door, we found ourselves ambushed by three more of those automated knights.
Both me and Lady grinned at one another as she stated "These things just don't quit. It's almost as if we didn't dismantle five of them just before." I replied "Oh well, all the more fun for us then." Just then, one of the knights charged forward.
We both ducked out of the way causing it to almost crash into the wall however it stopped and spun around. As it raced forward again, Lady fired a round from Kalina Ann towards it. It was barely able to raise its shield and defend.
While Lady dealt with that one, I turned my attention to the other two who had both chosen to take defensive stances. This meant I would have to make the first move. I started out by drawing my grenade launcher and blasting one of them, however of course it blocked with its shield.
I then quickly conjured Ifrit and dashed towards it. First I went in for a punch, managing to avoid the shield and strike the knight directly in the face! Before it could retaliate, I landed another to its chest plate and a kick to its side.
I finished up by quickly sweeping the knights leg. The combined force of the barrage of attacks made the knight collapse to the ground in a heap of armour. Now there was only one left. I initially went in for a slash attack.
It dodged by taking off into the air, it then attempted to charge at me with its lance extended in front of it. This time I was able to dodge and countered by slashing at its back with Light and Dark, damaging its flight.
It hit the ground however it stood back up and approached one again, this time without is shield or flight. And it was here that I ended things. Using Light and Dark, I stabbed both of them into the knight's body. I then gave a fierce tug and ripped the knight into two halves!
As soon as the body had hit the floor, I turned to Lady and said "That should be the last of them." Lady added "For now." I shrugged "Oh well, we'd best probably get going, see if we can find that bridge." To that she just gave a simple "Right."
Timeskip...
With that, we made our way out of the large room. We navigated corridors and rooms until at last we seemed to be back exploring the familiar territory from before and shortly after we arrived back in that large entrance room once again.
Lady turned to me and explained "I think I know where the bridge is. I was in that area before but the bridge wasn't there and the doorway was covered by a waterfall." I replied "Okay, then lead the way."
I followed Lady through the opposite door, she lead me through a few corridors and eventually into an outside area. It was still snowing even now, keep that in mind because it will be important later on.
Making our way to the end of the outside courtyard, we finally reached the bridge. Lady proudly announced "There you go!" I laughed and said "Yeah yeah, enough showing off. Lets go." And with that we crossed the bridge.
As soon as we did so, we heard the sound of rumbling, turning around we saw the bridge finally retreat back into the rock behind us and the waterfall flooded down, blocking our path. I sighed before saying "Well looks like we won't be going back that way."
Lady replied "Then forward we go." We made our way through a dark and narrow cave and when we came out of the other end, I was genuinely confused at what we found as opposed to the previous area we were in.
We walked out onto a cliff overlooking a luscious forest. The temperature had shot up and it was now like a summers day unlike the castle where it was snowing 24/7. Lady stared out at the vast sea of green and stated "It's beautiful." I just added "Indeed. But it's strange that this place exists right next to that snowy tundra back there."
After taking in the scenery, we found a footpath heading down into the forest and that was our safest bet. It wasn't long until we descended into the forest properly. The light shining through the canopy of leaves was actually quite stunning.
However not long after we entered said forest, I began getting the feeling we were being both watched and followed. It was the same feeling I got in Fortuna which meant-. Before I had even completed my thought process, I drew Cinder and fired!
Lady exclaimed "What the hell was that Y/N?!" As soon as she said this, a demon fell from the trees, its appearance was identical to those reptilian 'Blade' demons that I fought in Mundus' castle. I simply replied "That."

I then said "And if my calculations are correct-." Shortly after more Blade demons appeared, climbing down from the surrounding trees. A smirk appeared across my face as I said "It's very rare you'll encounter a lesser demon alone."
Lady rapidly drew her two handguns and began firing on the approaching demons. I drew Cinder and did the same. Between the two of us it was an easy effort to take each one out. Each bullet hit their mark.
Going at the rate we were it didn't take us long to demolish most of the demons. As some of them got closer, I pulled out Eclipse and began slicing at the them, taking them out just as quickly and it didn't take us long to wipe out the horde quickly.
Even then, I heard the sound of approaching footsteps. I spun around with Cinder drawn and saw a boy standing in front of me with his own gun pointed at me...
Author's Note: And that's it for this chapter I hope you liked it. Now I want to ask you all a question, how would you feel about Y/N and Lady having a baby son during the DMC5 segment? I know people aren't too fond of O/Cs and that's why I haven't included one in any of my recent stories. This baby wouldn't play much of a role, mostly just serve as motivation for both Y/N and Lady, we may also get the odd humorous switch to Morrison's POV where he's babysitting.
