Everyone knows that the Demon Sparda had twin sons, Vergil and Dante. However unbeknownst to everyone, Sparda had a third son with another woman. Enter Y/N L/N, a man who spends his days as a Demon Hunter! What will happen when his half-brother catc...
While I knew Dante's aim thanks to V, I wasn't sure of where he could be. I had a vague idea based off something Dante had told me years ago, not long after our encounter with Mundus. It was quite interesting that the Qliphoth would sprout here of all places.
If I'm not mistaken, the charred ruins of Dante's old family home rested not too far from here. Much like the home where I was raised, it was burned down. Perhaps for the same reasons. That I didn't know, he never went too much into his past when his mother was still alive. Much like I didn't with mine, it was something we both just buried.
But now, I felt that with the Qliphoth's close proximity to its location, it only made sense for him to head there. Especially if he was going to try and unlock the power of both Sparda and Rebellion.
The pieces were beginning to fit together in my mind. Perhaps it was the power of Yamato that lead to the birth of both V and Urizen. Similar to how Eclipse had allowed me to unleash my own true power. I could only imagine what both Rebellion and Sparda would do for Dante. No matter, once he is assimilated by Eclipse, that power shall be mine.
I shifted my eyes about, looking to see if I could spot the old long-abandoned building. While I didn't spot it, I did notice a small congregation of demons banding around in another small clearing. It wouldn't take me long to deal with them so I quickly descended towards them.
These demons were a new type that I had only seen a few times. They were named Fury because of their usually vicious fighting style. That was all irrelevant to me though, they weren't any stronger than the other demons.

One of the Fury wasted no time lunging towards me and slashing with its giant red claw on its right arm. Before the attack could hit I thrust Eclipse forward and impaled it right through the chest!
I spun around as another tried leaping at me from behind as I sliced it right through the waist. I flew up as two more dived at me, causing them to instead hit one another before I swung Eclipse down and finished both of them off.
Firing a blast of lightning from both hands I was also able to kill two more before using my wings to launch myself forward and decapitate another. Even then the they still kept trying to attack, one more tried to lunge forward however I cut through it with only minimal amounts of effort.
Purple sparks flew as I kept cutting through all the demons. Each one being assimilated into Eclipse before they vanished. I looked up to the sky as I felt a lone raindrop hit my head. This was followed by another and soon enough it was fully drizzling.
Even so, I wasted no time taking flight once again, resuming my search for the ultimate prize. Which I would find soon enough, though the result would be nothing like what I expected...
Dante POV
I approached what remained of my old childhood home, my mind wandering. I thought about my mother, about Vergil, everything that had happened here years ago. I also thought about Y/N, despite no even knowing he existed at the time.
He'd told me about what happened to him when he was a kid. That was when he found Eclipse. Dad must have thought it save to leave it hidden away with Y/N's mum than let it fall into the wrong hands. I guess recent events had proved what Eclipse was capable of and that's why it was crucial that I did this.
As I entered the large hall, I looked around. I heard V's annoying bird coming up behind me saying "Ah! There you are!" I ignored him which made him comment "Hey what's wrong with you? Hey Dante!"
I approached an old picture, it had me and Vergil as kids with our mother as kids. The fire had interestingly burnt it so that the only face still visible was that of our mother. I went on to explain "The demonic power was activated in me once Vergil lovingly jammed this through my chest."
I held up Rebellion, the tip of which was still broken following the battle with Urizen. Y/N was lucky his blade wasn't broken, or unlucky depending on how you looked at it. Either way, even in its broken state Rebellion would be necessary for what I was about to do.
I rambled "I always wondered, why did my father give me the Rebellion?" That annoying ass familiar asked "Okay, what are you muttering?" I laughed and said "Over the years I've been stabbed and jabbed by a number of things. But who would've guessed-."
In a single swift motion I stabbed what remained of Rebellion into my stomach repeating the process I'm convinced Vergil would have done. That bird exclaimed "Have you lost your mind?! There's a demon to destroy! Kill yourself later, I'll help!"
"If the Yamato can separate man from devil, then what about the Rebellion?" I stabbed Rebellion deeper into my body, grunting as blood seeped out. The hilt began glowing before it vanished from my grasp in a flare of bright light.
Sparda which I was still holding on my back began glowing as it was absorbed into my body. Red energy completely surrounded me as I felt both blades build up inside of me. Suddenly I let out a yell though which sent out a burst that knocked Griffon into a nearby wall.
Once the process was seemingly complete, I hunched over in my new devil form, catching my breath. I slowly looked up to the the picture on the wall, flickers of red laced my vision before turning back to normal.
In an instant I shot into the air and took off in the direction of the Qliphoth. I didn't know how much power I had gained however I hoped it would be enough to stop Urizen once and for all and perhaps saving Y/N. Speaking of-.
A winged figure came into view. It was clear that whoever they were, they were demonic in nature. However it only got more interesting from there. Whoever they were they were actually heading TOWARDS me.
I revealed my newest weapon, a hybrid between the Rebellion and the devil sword Sparda. In the ritual I'd performed, the two weapons had merged and become an entirely new sword. I'd decided given the method of it's creation I'd name it Dante after yours truly.

As the demon drew closer I began to notice things. The look of pure elation upon seeing me, the look of pure madness in its eyes and more importantly. The very familiar purple blade that it wielded ECLIPSE! I muttered "So it's time."
A game of chicken began, we both charged one another rapidly, our respective blades raised and ready to strike. As we drew closer the rain only seemed to pick up until it was absolutely pouring down, like the day when me, Vergil and Y/N fought on top of that Temen-Ni-Gru.
As soon as we reached one another, our blades collided in a violent clash that sent red and purple lightning shooting through the black clouds around us...
