I stood leant against the tree on the very edge of the deadheads watching the boys head to bed from the bonfire this evening all slowly starting to make their way to their hammocks in the homestead. I kept an eye on everyone nodding to alby as he headed off to bed. I waited a little while longer seeing the last few boys head their way to bed so it was pretty much because I was the only one left in the glade watching the bonfire slowly dying down into the darkness.

"Hi newtie" I heard behind me I didn't even need to turn, only one person in the world calls me that

"Hi love"

"Whatcha doing?"

"Nothing" I shrug "why?"

"Just thought as it was getting so late I best begin heading to bed" she smiled coming closer in her long hoodie and little shorts

"Umm you should you'll be all tried tomorrow if your up to late"

"Ummmm but my little hut is so far out, close to the wall and all, it gets ever so cold and lonely" she pouts

"I can imagine it does. Would you... like a little company tonight then?"

"Yes please"
