I stood doing my work slowly weeding the plants along the little rows of plants for the food, I looked up a moment and saw y/n our only girl stood planting some new cuttings from other plants I smiled at her and she smiled back I waved at there and she waved back to blushing a little before going back to her work so I went back to my own, I know alby came to see her later on but I didn't want to eavesdrop, I know alby tends to pick on her because they call her the Keeper of the girls or jokingly 'Keeper of the Virginia' it made me laugh but I know they pick on her for being a girl and often overload her with jobs they don't want to do, she headed off to work so I kept doing my work till eventually, I got my work done and went for a walk in the Deadheads before dinner, but as I did I heard crying.
I instantly followed the noise I till I saw at the bottom of the little tree was y/n she held her legs tightly too her chest crying and struggling for her breath
"Y/n? are you okay?" I asked going close to her but she didn't say a word "hey, it's Okay love, don't worry" I told her "Whatever's the matter, I'm sure you'll be okay" I told her putting my had on her back to try and soothe her, but it didn't help much "Please y/n whats' wrong?" I asked giving her a hug, she held my hoodie tightly her hand on my chest above my heart as she cried into my shoulder so I held her close and stroked her hair
"Can I just hold you a while?" she asks
"Of course love, hold me tight as long as you like," I told her "what's the matter?"
"It's just all too much," she says
"its okay love, you just hold me till you feel better again," I told her giving her head a little kiss.
