Watch Tower Date

I smiled as I stood in the grass below the tall glade watch tower fiddling with my fingers as I waited patiently. 

"Hi Love" I heard behind me, so I turned trying not to blush as I saw newt standing in a clean hoodie fixing his hair 

"Hi, Newt" I smiled "You ready? for our little date?"

"Absolutely so long as you still-" He began and I smiled giving his cheek a kiss 

"Of course, come on" I giggled heading up the little wooden ladder, Newt was being very sweet and waiting till I was completely at the top before he climbed the ladder too and sat down beside me on the top of the watch tower "Did you have a nice day?"

"Yeah it was alright," He shrugs "had to sort the gardens out and make the lists up for the box" 

"Busy boy" I giggled 

"What about you?"

"Fine just laundry" I shrug kicking my feet off the side a little 

"you know I have a day off tomorrow, I don't mind coming and giving you a hand in the laundry if you like?"

"No it's okay newt you enjoy your day off" I smiled 

"You sure? I don't mind?"

"No it's okay" I smiled leaning my head on his shoulder 

"Okay, so what do you wanna do on our little date?" he asks 

"Cuddle?"

"Okay, cuddles" he smiled putting an arm around me so we could sit and cuddle together watching the sun set below the maze walls. Often chatting between the two of us and sharing little kisses 

"Newt?"

"Yes love?" he asks 

"Could maybe we... do something else tonight?"

"Ohh?" He blushed "like uhh like what?"

I smiled and stroked his hoodie softly before nuzzling my head into his chest "Uummmm your soft" I giggled 

"I did my best" he smiled squeezing me a little "Your cosy too"

"I can think of how we could become cosier?" 

"Oh?"

"Yeah" I smiled moving a little so I could sit on his lap 

"Uuuuuuuuhhhhhh..... I uhhhhhhh" he blushed hard "I uhhh" He gulped a little 

"Is this okay?"

"yes! this is uhh this is fine" he nods holding my hips gently 

"Ummmm" I smiled nuzzling into his shoulder and chest 

"You uhh your welcome to come cuddle like this anytime you want"

"Really?"

"Absolutely" He nods 

"You like it that much?" I asked slightly laughing 

"Of course, I always like your cuddles"

"But? Specifically these cuddles?" I giggled shifting my hips a little and immediately noticing why "Newt?" I giggled 

"I'm so sorry- I didn't -" He began 

"That's okay newt, did you maybe wanna head down from the watch tower and go off to my hammock in the deadhead?"

"Uuhhhh absolutely" he smiled giving my lips a sweet kiss before grabbing my hand to tug me down the tower.
