Gardens With Newt X

I woke with a grumble and a groan pushing myself out of the hammock and rubbing my eyes I slipped on the first clean pair of panties o found and grabbed my bra securing it around me as best I could give the almost three-year bra isn't doing so well. I sighed and grabbed my notepad with my schedule for the week trying to see what I was even doing today.

'Tuesday - garden's with newt <3'

Ah. Perfect.

I didn't want to do much work today and this is perfect as I never have to do anything at all when I work in the gardens. I put my book down and laid back in my hammock for an extra five minutes quickly there was a knock on my door given I was late for work.

"Y/n?"

"Ummm yes newt?" I cooed as sweetly as I could

"Can I come in? Are you decent?"

"No I'm not" I giggled innocently "but you can come in"

"Ohh uhh. Well you're late love. And we really need you today we're cutting down the trees to expand the east side of the gardens" he says I heard the door open and close but he clearly was faced the door so he wouldn't see me awww such a gentleman

"Ummm just five more minutes newt please" I whined and as I did he couldn't help but take a peek at me on my little hammock instantly he caught my eye and returned his gaze to the door turning red slightly "I didn't sleep well last night" I whined nuzzling with my blanket making sure to keep my body hidden but exposed enough he knew I wasn't dressed

"I uhhh you know I can't y/n come on were both going to be late and if we're late Alby will kick my butt"

"Alright," I sighed climbing out my hammock keeping my blanket around me "I see you in the gardens once I'm dressed newt" I smiled giving his cheek a kiss

Which turned him bright red he nodded and quickly scurried out of my room.

I giggled and started to get dressed for the day, I know newt has a crush on me I'm not stupid honestly I think most boys did to some extent but newt had it bad and honestly I really like him too didn't mean I wasn't going to use this to my advantage. I'd be stupid not too? The second in command is sweet on you, you have to get the perks. And most of those said perks involved being scheduled for work in the gardens with him and being allowed to Basically get away with whatever I wanted so long as I played my cards right. Five more minutes wouldn't work on Minho, or Alby, or Gally but it does for newt a giggle and innocent smile and oftentimes he melted into my hands. I dressed into my little loose hoodie, and my denim jeans I had cut into shorts for the hot glade weather. Once dressed I headed out my little hut out into the glade and across to the gardens edge where the boys stood looking at the trees to be cutdown today I spotted newt so I ran over and hugged him as tight as I could he was shocked for a second before he realized it was me and wrapped his arms around me laying his head on my own letting of it a happy sigh into my hair, immediately I noticed not only how tight he was holding me but the harsh stiffness pressing against my shorts I giggled a little and gave his cheek a kiss

"Good morning"

"Morning love."

"Thank you for this morning" I cooed moving back letting him keep me in his arms fixing his hoodie a little "let's get on then" I smiled going to get the tools immediately hearing zart speak up

"What exactly did you do to her this morning?"

"I let her sleep on that's all" he defended we all began our work on taking down the trees I was of course originally given a much more... work heavy task of chopping down one the tree they thinned yesterday but all I had to do was pout and I got moved to thinning out the smaller branches of the next tree cutting the little branches off for fire sticks up my little ladder I often hummed to myself making sure I waved to newt if ever I saw him which he often waved back I hadn't spotted him for a while so I just got on with my work throwing the twigs onto a pile below me and as I tossed one back o noticed where he was.

I wasn't too far off the ground on my little ladder and just behind me newt stood arms crossed face blank of an expression eyes squarely on my shorts.

"Having fun down there newt?"

"What! Yes! No! I uhhhh I'm uhhhhh just making sure you don't fall" he says immediately turning red knowing he had been spotted

"Awww how sweet of you" I smiled leaning my knife on the branch and giggling before I jumped off the ladder luckily falling onto his arms "very helpful. Thank you newtie" I smiled stroking his cheek and playing with his hair which somehow turned him even redder

"Yeah I uhhhhh your uh you're welcome love"

"My hands are really sore now" I whined "do you think maybe I could go lie down for a while?"

"Well... I mean we are almost finished for the day so I guess that's okay"

"Ummm thank you" I smile giving his cheek another kiss before I heard back to my hut, I had myself a nice nap waking up just before dinner time the glade already dark everyone by the kitchens ready for dinner I stretched and climbed out my hammock heading out to get dinner but as I shut my little hut I heard him speak up

"Hi y/n" he smiled standing close to my door nervously

"Oh! Newt. You made me jump"

"Sorry"

"Well what is it? What excuse do you have for scaring a girl half to death?"

"Well I was just going for...a uhh a stroll before dinner and I uhhh I was uhhhh just thinking and then when I uhhh I saw your hut I uhhh I thought maybe-" he explained rambling between his stutterers

I smiled and gave his lips a soft kiss being gentle against his plump lips quickly pulling away again seeing his now bright red face

"That what you wanted newt?" I asked and he nodded very quickly I was almost worried he was about to shake his own eyes out "did you want another one?" I asked and he simply continued his rapid nodding so I smiled leaning my chest against his own and pressing my lips back To his own immediately he kissed back wrapping his arms around me one hand sitting on my waist the other on my neck and jaw his thumb gently stroking my cheek, our kiss quickly turned heavier moving our lips against each other slowly but passionately till I pulled back leaving him to take a sharp gasp

"Sorry I uhh"

"It's fine. You want some kisses you just have to ask newtie"

"Not that I uhhh I'm sorry love" he says blushing hard glancing down and then it clicked... that stiffness I had felt all day wasn't so stiff anymore

"Huuu newt!"

"I'm so sorry - I'm so so sorry"

"It's alright, that the first kiss or the second one?"

"First one" he admitted "are you mad at me?"

"Of course not, it alright to get... a little overexcited" I smiled "how about you go get us dinner and we can cuddle up in my hut and have a few more little kisses?"

"You mean it?"

" course I do"

"Five minutes love" he smiled pulling me into a quick kiss before he scampered off into the glade
