Lulliby

I yawned turning over and trying to nuzzle but the other side of my bed was empty so I sat up and saw Newt sat at the end of the bed

"Newt? Honey? Are you okay?" I ask

"No...no...no... you're not swallowing me up" he muttered holding his head in his hands

"Ohh honey," I sigh

Haises pov:

I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think, I even stuggle to breathe, the shadows of my forgotten memories hauntingly stalking my soul always just behind me, that blood splattered checked floor and faded walls reminding me of places I have forgotten and yet still have fear of

"You will never forget, never erase what we have done" he says

"What you have done" I said

"What we have done... We did it together" he smirked

"No... I didn't do anything" I cried as I felt his icy grip on my shoulder "no, no, no you're not swallowing me up, it's my body it's mine!" I cried trying to get away from him

"It's ours! Let me play Newt let us be one again" he smirked

"No no I will never let you not now not ever, I can't allow you to hurt anyone" I yell

"Daydreams and daisies, diamonds and dandelions, donuts and daffodils..." I heard the sweet voice smile I felt the grip on my body tightening "... don't dare take my darling away" she sang and I found myself back in our little room her sweet arms around me her head on my back as she sang I held her hands noticing tears streaked down my face and clothes "it's okay Newt it was just a bad dream, come back to bed" she says sweetly

"Your right y/n a bad dream" I agree giving her hand a kiss and crawling back into bed with her she nuzzled close to my chest so I held her close knowing she can keep me safe from all those horrible dreams "y/n?" I ask her

"What is it Newt?" She asks

"Could you sing me the lulliby again?" I ask her

"Hehe of course" she smiled giving me a kiss "Daydreams and daisies, diamonds and dandelions, donuts and daffodils, dark nights and dreams, I'd trade all these things for keeping him safe, so don't dare take my darling away" she sings

"Thank you beautiful" I smiled giving her head a kiss "goodnight"

"Goodnight Newt" she smiled
