Day Trip

Y/N POV:

"Jay, wake up!" I yell as I run into JJ's room at the chateau. I told him to be up and ready to go at 8 but not to my surprise he was still asleep.

The boy didn't even move when I walked in, so like any good girlfriend would I jumped right on top of him.

"Oof" JJ let out a groan as laid on top of him. I started placing kisses on the back of his neck, trying to get him to wake up.

Soon enough, he rolled over causing me to flop down on the other side of the bed. His arms found their way to grip onto my waist.

"Morning baby" he says, kissing my cheek with his eyes still closed.

"You gotta get up bubba, we have to leave in a few if we want to make it to the park in time" I pat his face and claw my way out of his arms. I can hear his whines as I hop out of the bed and start rummaging through his clothes to find him something to wear.

I turn around, clothes in hand to see him sitting on the side of the bed rubbing his eyes.

"Hear babe" I say as I toss him the clothes and give him a sleepy smile, I walk out of the room to grab the rest of the stuff we need for our little day trip.

Since me and JJ both have the day off I figured that we could go to Six Flags, both of us love amusement parks and we haven't gotten to spend a lot of time just the two of us since we are working so much.

JJ emerges from his room in the shorts and tee shirt I picked out of him and his blue marina hat on his head. I was finishing grabbing some water and the sunscreen when JJ's arms wrapped themselves around my waist.

"Remind me why we had to get up so early" JJ says against my neck. I let out a little giggle and turned around to wrap my hands around his neck.

"Because I want to be able to actually ride the rides today and not stand in line" I say earning a head nod from JJ.

"Alright I think I have everything, the tickets are on our phones, I got water, and the sunscreen, ooo and I stopped at the gas station before I came over and got you a monster." I walked over to the counter to grab the energy drink I got him, since I knew he would be tired.

"Have I ever told you that you are the best girlfriend in the world?" JJ smiles as I hand him his drink and he kisses my cheek.

"You might have mentioned it" I giggle "okay time to go"

We hopped in the car and JJ handed me the aux so that I could play music during our ride. I plugged my phone in and turned on the playlist I had for the two of us.

JJ pulled out of the driveway and his hand found its way to my thigh where I knew it would stay for the remainder of the trip.

This is going to be the best day.

When we got to the park I made sure that we had our tickets and I put on some sunscreen knowing that I would burn if I didn't.

JJ and I walked hand in hand up to the gate. There weren't that many people there because the park was just opening so there wasn't even a line.

We walked in and I grabbed a map to make sure that I knew where all the rides were, because knowing me and JJ we would get lost.

"Alrightly, where to start?" I smile at JJ and he just tightens his grip on my hand and pulls me toward the closest roller coaster.

The next few hours were filled with giggles and screams, and just all around fun.

I managed to convince JJ to do the drop tower with me and he got me to get on a slingshot ride, which I was terrified of, but the video of us on it is pure comedic gold.

We rode a rollercoaster for hours when we finally took a break to get something to eat.

We settled on pizza, we were sitting outside because there was a slight breeze. I sat there eating my pizza, staring at JJ as he ate his. God could this boy get anymore perfect. Even all sweaty and shoving pizza in his mouth he still looks so damn good.

'It's not nice to stare sweetheart" JJ says through the food in his mouth looking up at me.

"Can't help it, you have pizza sauce on your chin" I giggle, trying to cover up the fact that I hadn't noticed it since now, and wanted to avoid the comments about me staring again.

I lean over and wipe the pizza sauce off his face. He just smiles.

"Thanks baby"

After we finished eating we decided to take a break from the intense rides and just ride the train around the park for a little bit.

JJ had his arms wrapped around my body and I laid into his chest just enjoying being with him.

Once we rode the train a bit we got on a few more rides before JJ decided to take his chances with the games.

First he played ring toss trying to win me a giant bear, which didn't work so well because those games are so hard to win.

Then he played the basketball game and won himself a jersey, and watching him shoot hoops was actually much more attractive than I could have ever imagined.

Lastly, JJ won the dart game and got me a big ass teddy bear. It was almost the same size as me.

"Here baby" JJ said handing me the bear, "You can name him JJ, you know for when I'm not there to cuddle"

I just let out a laugh and rolled my eyes at the boy, as he grabbed my hand in his once more and we made our way back to the car.

As soon as my head hit the headrest I passed out, so much for keeping JJ company on the way home.

JJ POV:

I carefully pick y/n up from the car trying not to wake her. She fell asleep as soon as we got in the car, it was actually kind of cute.

As I open the door to the chateau, she starts to wake up.

"Shh, baby go back to sleep" I tell her and I make our way into my room. I lay her down on the bead and grab a shirt for her to sleep in. I carefully help her change her clothes, and then I change him and climb into bed with her.

She rolled over and wrapped her arm around my chest, "Today was so much fun baby, thank you" She says sleepily.

"Of course baby, now go back to bed. I love you" I say as I kiss her forehead and she snuggles into my chest deeper.

"I love you too" she mutters against my chest as she drifts back to sleep.

Soon enough I feel myself getting tired, she right today was a good day.

sorry I haven't posted in a while, things have been crazyyyyy. I'm hoping to start posting more but i don't want to make promises. I have a couple of ideas, so hopefully i can get them out soon!!
