happy birthday, my love

Requested by katieemaybank: could you write one where it's y/n's bday and JJ surprises her with all sorts of fun things to do?

JJ POV:

Today is y/n's birthday and I have a ton of shit planned for us to do.

First off, I am going to surprise my girl with her favorite. Starbucks.

I walked into her room, finding her still asleep. Even with hair in her face, slightly snoring, she is the most beautiful girl in the world.

I walked up and set her coffee on her bedside table. Placing a kiss on her cheek to wake her up. She started to stir and when she opened her eyes a smile appeared on her face.

"Happy birthday, my love" I said kissing her lips

"Hi" she giggled "thank you" she kissed me again

"I have a surprise for you" I say leaning over and grabbing her coffee from the table.

Her eyes lit up when she saw it. "You are the best!" She gleamed.

"I know" I smirked as she sat up and grabbed her coffee from my hands

"Ahhh, this is already the best birthday" she said smiling

"Well it is about to get better, now get dressed. We have plans" I say as I hop off her bed and put out my hand for her to grab.

She gladly takes it and if only she knew how great today was going to be.

It's noon and we have already been surfing, played volleyball on the beach. And now we are going to do my girls favorite thing.

Eat chick-fil a and drive around listening to music.

We got our food and rolled all the windows down and turned up the music.

I loved watching her sing to music and the way her hair flowed in the wind.

We drove around for a couple hours. Just going anywhere we could. Singing everything from old rock, to good old country, and of course a shit ton of one direction.

Finally we were going to make our last stop of the day. I pulled into the chateau and before we could get out of the car she looked over at me.

"I love you" she smiled, leaning over to kiss my cheek.

"Not as much as I love you," I smiled back "come on"

We walked hand in hand into the chateau, where I had our friends set up a fantastic surprise party.

"Surprise!!" they yelled as we walked into the room.

Y/n just stood there in surprise, then she turned and gave me her thank you eyes. Knowing that this was most likely my idea.

She ran over and hugged our friends and then came back to stand at my side.

"Alright, party time!" John B exclaimed

We all cheered and did as he said. Cause he's right it's party time.

After a while of partying kie got out the cake that we got for y/n and we sang happy birthday.

Once we were finished, we all sat down on the couch to give her our gifts. I really hope she likes mine.

"Awe thank you JB" She said after opening the picture frame he got her. It had a picture of the six of us we had taken on the beach a while back.

Pope had gotten her some books that she wanted, Kie got her a new swimsuit, and Sarah had gotten her fancy face stuff that she had been wanting for a while.

Now it was time for my gift. I pulled out the small gift box I had wrapped for her.

"My turn baby" I said, handing her my gift.

She smiled, taking the box from me and gently opening it. As soon as she opened the box a huge smile appeared on her face.

She pulled out the ring that I had gotten her.

"JJ it's beautiful" she smiled

"Read it" I said motioning to the engraving on it.

She peered to the inside of the ring, and read the engraving.

Her face lit up as she read it.

"JJ" she cooed "I love it" she started to get a few tears in her eyes

I am so glad she likes it.

"It's a promise" I say with a smile "because I promise you that one day I am going to marry you"

She just nodded and wrapped her arms around me pulling me into a hug.

As soon as we pulled apart from the hug I pulled her lips to mine. The kiss was slow and sweet. Every time I kiss her it feels like magic.

"You guys are disgustingly cute" Kie said, causing us both to break out laughing.

Soon enough we all were laughing, we spent the rest of the night just talking and having a good time.

Finally we all started to get tired and me and y/n made our way to the spare room.

She changed into my old t-shirt and crawled into bed. I hopped in next to her and pulled her into my arms.

"Thank you Jay, today was the best," she said against my chest.

"Of course baby, I'm glad you had a good birthday" i said kissing her forehead

"You know, one more birthday to go and you can make good on your promise" she said sleepily.

"And you know I will"

She melted back into my arms and soon enough she was fast asleep. Little snores coming from her.

I always revel in these moments. Just me and the love of my life. I drift off into sleep thinking about the life we are going to have.

It's going to be the best.
