I Like You I Do: Eddie Munson

Request: Heyyy so I was wondering if I could get an Eddie x fem one shot! I just really like the idea that they've been school buddies for years (and go to the same high school now) and Eddie and her flirt a lot but don't think to much off it and then like either the girl blurts it out that they have had a crush of him (or the other way around!) and it still doesn't change they still flirt but Eddie shows her off in front of his hellfire club! I'm open to what you like to fit into it as wellll!!!

You and Eddie had been best friends since about third grade and became inseparable after that, usually were ever one of you, the other wasn't too far away. Now you weren't sure when you started to develop feelings for him actually that was a lie it was after he started growing his hair out and started getting tattooed, but you knew you were in love with your best friend, and that scared you because while yes you two did flirt a lot, nothing further happened between you two which made you think that maybe he didn't like in wanting a relationship since.  Right now you were watching as he went on one of his rants making you laugh at how dramatic he was sometimes. 

"Look I know I'm not as attractive as Munson over there, but still you could pay attention to you what I'm saying instead of staring at him." Your friend said making you roll your eyes at her.

"I wasn't staring at him and I heard everything you said." You said as your friend gave you an unamused look as you recited everything she said in the last few minutes.

"Boyfriend alert." Your other friend said making you glare at her as she laughed at you as you felt a tap on your shoulder causing you to turn around and see Eddie standing behind you.

"Hi, Eddie, what brings you by?" You said looking up at him with a smile.

"Hi sweetheart, I just came to see how the prettiest girl at this school is doing." He said making you blush. 

"She's doing fine, and how's the prettiest boy in Hawkins doing?" You asked him watching as the color rose to his cheeks. 

"He's doing good, but he has a question for you?" He asked you shyly. 

"Sure what's up Eds?" You asked him. 

"So Sinclair is going to be out of town for the championship game on Monday and have to miss hellfire so I was wondering if you could maybe fill in for him?" He asked you. 

"I would love to Eds, but I don't know how to play D&D." You said to him. 

"Oh, that's no big deal, I'd be more than happy to teach you to how to play this weekend." He said smiling at you. 

"Really? You would do that instead of making me look like a fool in front of your club?" You mused already knowing the answer. 

"I'm offended you would even ask that! But even if I did, you would be the prettiest fool I've ever seen." He said smirking at you as you ducked your head trying to fight the smile that was threatening to break out on your face because fuck that was smooth.

"Alright, I'll see you this weekend for D&D." You said. 

"Alright and I'll see you later on sweetheart." He said standing up and leaving you as you processed what happened. 

After receiving some relentless teasing from your friends about Eddie, they had put it in your head about thinking about making a move on Eddie since he wasn't going to do it and that scared you. Right now you two were in your room as he was trying to teach you how to play D&D but all could you focus on was those beautiful brown eyes of his that were so easy to get lost in. 

"Are you even paying attention sweetheart?" He asked you snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Huh? Yeah, I was." You said quickly trying to make it seem like you were when you in fact hadn't heard anything he said. 

"What's going on with you? You seemed zoned out? Do you not like D&D?" He asked you making you sigh.

"No it's not that, it's just that Eddie I like you well actually it's more like I've had a crush on you." You said quickly. 

"I know." He said making you look at him confused. 

"You do?" You asked him confused. 

"I do and guess what I like you too. Now can we get back to D&D and maybe you actually pay attention?" He said as you nodded your head still trying to process what happened. 

By the time Monday came around, you felt decent enough to play with the club tonight and Eddie assured you that he and the rest of the club would help you if you needed it. You still didn't know where you and Eddie's relationship was after your confession this weekend, and that worried you to a certain degree. 

"Gentlemen I would like to introduce you to our newest member and my girl Y/n." Eddie said making you look up at him confused. 

"Took you long enough." Mike said as joined them onstage making you look at Eddie confused. 

"Took him long enough what?"  You asked confused. 

"For him to ask you out, we've had to hear about his crush on you for years and how he didn't think you would ever go out with someone like him." Mike said shocking you.

"Wheeler!" Eddie said making Mike freeze and retreat back to his seat as you thought about what he told you. 

The campaign started and you were doing pretty good so far only having to ask for help a few times which Eddie was more than happy to help with. He kept you by his side and would whisper certain tips and whatnot in your ear making you laugh. The two spent the next three hours flirting with each other back and forth much to the dismay of the club.

"Seriously guys, we get it your in love, but could you stop flirting for a few minutes?" Dustin asked making you and Eddie laugh.

"It's fine I gotta go to the bathroom anyways." You said with a laugh as you left the auditorium. 

By the time you got back most of the kids were gone and it was just you and Eddie who was cleaning up, so you walked over and started helping him.

"Thanks for letting me play today, I had fun." You said making Eddie smile. 

"No need to thank me sweetheart, but I wanted to talk about the other night because I kinda just brushed it off." He said. 

"Oh um it's fine Eddie." You said. 

"No it isn't. You see you caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting the girl I've been in love with forever to admit she had a crush on me as well. I just wanted to know that I do like you alot and was hoping maybe to take you on a date this weekend?" He asked reaching for your hand. 

"As long as it's a date where you're my boyfriend." You said smiling at him as you saw him trying to hide his smile. 

"Trust me it is. Do you think I can kiss you?" He asked you cupping your face with his hands. 

"I think you can." You said with a smile as you felt his lips touch yours.
