Long Day: Eddie Munson

Can I request something where the reader is constantly touching Eddie (sorta of like clingy) and Eddie gets mad and tells her to stop touching him so much, so she stops touching him entirely like there usual cuddles stop, there daily hugs just stuff like that and eddie gets confused and confronts her about it and he tells her it was just because he had a long day and he needed some space? angst to fluff please

"Can you stop touching me so much?" Eddie asked clearly annoyed. 

"Yeah of course." You said quietly as you turned away from him and tried to eat your food but couldn't because you were upset, not sure why Eddie snapped at you like that. 

Eddie felt bad looking over at you and watching you sit there quietly and pick at your food. The truth was he was just having a bad day that started since he got up this morning and progressively got worst so he just wanted some space.

"Hey, where you going?" He asked when he saw you stand up. 

"Oh, I forgot that I was supposed to help Robin with something during lunch." You said lying to him because you couldn't stand to be near him right now.

 "Oh okay, I'll see you later." He said watching as you leaned down about to hug him but stopped and left. 

This is how it went for the next few days you stopped touching Eddie and started pulling away, gone were the daily hugs that you always gave him, you hardly let him cuddle you when you hung at his place or yours, and you barely kissed him. Eddie was a mess and didn't understand why you acted this way towards him. 

"What's going on with you? Did I do something to you? Because you been being distant with me the last few days." Eddie asked you confused. 

"You did. Don't you remember?" You asked him confused. 

"No I don't. Can you tell me so I can try to make it right?" He asked looking at you sadly. 

"You told me to stop touching you so much the other day in front of everybody and it hurt my feelings. So I figured that maybe you were annoyed with me or saw me as clingy so I tried to put some distance between us because I knew I wouldn't be able to be around you and not have my hands on you in some way." You said sadly which broke Eddie's heart. 

"No no sweetheart I swear I don't find you clingy or annoying." He said talking your face in his hand. 

"You don't then why did ask me to stop touching you so angryily?" You asked him as the tears slide down your face making Eddie sigh. 

"I didn't even mean to snap at you sweetheart. I was having a bad day since I got up that morning and it only got worst so I was in a mood and honestly just wanted to be alone for a bit so I could calm down and not yell at you which I ended up doing so I'm sorry." He said leaning his head against yours. 

"It's okay Eds, next time please just tell you need some space instead of yelling at me." You asked him. 

"I promise as long as you hold my fucking hand or something, your killing me here sweetheart, three days is far too long to be without your touch." He said making you laugh as he dried your tears. 

"I promise. I love you Eddie." You said placing a kiss on his lips. 

"I love you more sweetheart." He said smiling at you as you wrapped his arms around him.
