"𝕷ooking forward to it?" James questioned as I traveled towards the group with my trunk levitated behind me, a book tucking under my arm,

"For which?" I asked, tilting my head to the side, glancing down to my book in my hands and back up to them, confused expressions on their faces,

"He means coming with us, Rory, not reading your bloody book" Sirius chuckled, my eyebrows raising, nodding my head, before pausing hesitantly,

"They know I look like him, don't they?" I inquired, the four boys exchanging a glance whilst I shared one with Noelle, biting my lip,

"No, they don't. But they know who you are and you've been writing to them, why should it matter how you look?" Remus replied, my face scrunching up whilst I looked away from them, my heart physically paining in my chest. Because when people look at me, they see him, therefore they're scared of me and judge me before i've been given a chance and I do look incredibly scary.

"Tu es belle, chérie" Sirius spoke up in the silence, observing the way the girl avoided any of their eyes when they said about the way she looked. He meant it. He's never seen anyone more beautiful than Mallory, even if she looks like her father, she's still beautiful. It made his heart clench seeing her insecure about the way she looked because of her heritage, despite her cracking personality he's also grown fond of. The Potters aren't judging people, they've been looking forward to meeting her for months after lettering her every couple of weeks.

"Let's get going, missing the carriages would be rather disastrous" I voiced, turning back to them all, beginning to walk on my heel towards where the carriages where, the four looking at the long haired boy pointedly from the girl's behaviour, his head nodding, jogging behind her once James took his trunk into his other hand,

"Rory" I heard a gruff voice speak, walking beside me and glancing to me out of the corner of their eye although I kept my face stoic and staring straight ahead, "Come on, love, they're not bothered by that sort of thing. I mean- they would have judged me when I first met them but they didn't"

"You weren't the product of a mass murderer, known to be one of the darkest wizards of all time" I scoffed, waving my hand and placing my trunk into the carriage storage before stepping inside, the boy joining me as we waited for the others,

"They know who you are, I know who you are. The real you, that's who they're interested in meeting. The Rory I know, playful, sarcastic, simple not to mention effortlessly gorgeous...."

"You're just sweet talking me now" I mumbled, his hand reaching to tuck hair behind my ear, pressing his lips to my ear causing my heart to thump when he whispered,

"Is it working?"

"Keep going and you might get somewhere" I murmured, hearing him chuckle quietly, my head tilting towards him, our noses bumping again until he connected our lips together gently, cupping my cheek with his large hand, his rings cool against my skin.
